Welcome to this beautiful meditation called the breath of oneness with a circle of ancestors or wise women.
Make yourself comfortable,
Sit with your spine tall or if you feel more comfortable laying down allow yourself to feel incredibly supported by the surface that you are laying on or sitting on.
Welcome a slow and deep breath and take the first three or four breaths right down into the bottom half of your body allowing them to connect your energy body with your physical body in the lower portion of your being specifically the legs.
Become aware of your legs.
Now breathe a little more deeply and allow your breath to fill the torso as well as the lower part of the body.
The next three or four breaths fill the torso with your breath and connect both the energy body and the physical body.
And as always have the intention to enjoy your breath as it moves in and as it moves out.
The next three or four breaths breathe not only into the legs and the torso but also the upper extremities including the head.
So now you are breathing the whole body connecting the breath body the energy body and the physical body.
Now please begin to imagine yourself in a beautiful grove in a beautiful clearing in a forest place on country a place in nature that you feel safe and supported in and imagine circling around you a circle of wise women or a circle of ancestors supporting you and within and around that circle there is a golden sphere of light that surrounds yourself and the women of that circle.
Slowly and gently breathe with the women or the ancestors in this circle of support.
Simply breathe with them.
You may begin to notice that this sphere of light that is surrounding the circle gently pulses with your shared breath.
As you exhale think of sending any tension or weariness or discomfort or challenges that you might be facing or feeling let them travel out of you on the exhale making their way towards the flame of the heart centered in each of the women surrounding you in a circle.
As you exhale your tension and your worries notice that the heart flame of each woman grows a little brighter with every breath.
On each exhale as you release you might even let out a sigh letting it gently move towards the hearts of the women or the ancestors surrounding you in this circle of support.
With each inhale sense that you are breathing in a light,
You are breathing in an eternal love,
You are breathing in a sense of peace that you are receiving from the women in the circle.
As you exhale they are taking in any pain or suffering that you may be experiencing and as you inhale you feel the warmth of their love expanding your heart igniting your heart flame.
You breathe in peace as you allow any sense of pain or suffering or weariness to be exhaled from your body.
On the exhale you allow them to take your burdens and you watch them be transmuted within the heart flame of each of the women in the circle.
Their heart becomes brighter,
They make your burdens light and as you inhale you receive the peace that they are exhaling back to you.
You are breathing the breath of life,
A breath of reciprocity and love within and around this circle of support.
There is nothing to do here apart from follow your breath,
Come back to your gentle breathing.
Let the breath flow freely between you and this circle of wise women surrounding you as you feel and see the golden sphere of light pulsating with this reciprocity of breath.
With each exhale you might continue to allow an audible sigh and with each inhale you continue to take on more love and more light.
With each inhalation you feel a growing sense of peace in your heart,
Feeling the heart flame within you become brighter and expand.
Start to become aware of your compassion,
The natural compassion that arises within you when you hear of the suffering of others and become awake to your awareness that the suffering of others is no different from your own suffering and let this expand the flame in your heart even wider,
The light burns even brighter as you become aware of your own heart's power to transmute the suffering of others and you notice that whilst you may still be exhaling your own weariness and your own suffering you are also simultaneously offering love and peace and healing to the circle of support that surrounds you and with this realization of your own power to transmute and hold space for love and compassion.
This sphere of golden light that is surrounding yourself in the circle grows even brighter.
This clearing in the heart of the forest is alive with the reciprocity of your love,
The reciprocity of this shared breath of oneness between yourself and this circle of support of the ancestors surrounding you.
You receive any pain and you are able to transmute it with your compassion and your love.
Each heart in the circle glowing each heart calmly becoming a beacon of peace.
Stay here and enjoy the beauty of reciprocity for as long as you like or simply allow the vision to gently fade.
Take a moment to notice how your body and your breath and the space around you are feeling after this short guided visualization and when you feel ready gently slowly begin to wrap your arms around yourself in a gesture of holding in a gesture of love and comfort.
Perhaps gently rubbing the edges of your arms or your shoulders.
Take one more deep breath in and a long breath out and when you are ready gently open your eyes.
Enjoy the space of transition between the meditation and the waking world.
Let it be slow if you can and when you are ready carry on with your day.
