Let's begin by sensing what it's like to be awake in our bodies right now.
Not feeling any tingling or aliveness that's here.
Allowing ourselves to come home to ourselves.
Really reside right here.
Finding out what it's like to put our attention on just this moment.
To what the body feels like right now.
To this next breath.
Anchoring ourselves here.
This breath.
Inhabiting the inside of our legs.
Our pelvis,
Our belly.
Feeling ourselves rooted and grounded here.
And invoking a sense of reverence for the life that's here right now.
Just feeling a bit of honoring or dignity for ourselves.
Not in an egoic way.
Just more like a true honoring.
Just appreciating the life that's here,
Our life.
This being,
This body.
This mind and heart.
Just feeling reverence for our life.
Truly valuing and honoring the life that's here.
Wanting the best for it.
Really seeking to nurture or cultivate the life that's here.
Like you'd want to nurture or revere your child.
If you have one.
Or if you could imagine wanting to revere or honor a child or another person or an animal.
Just feeling that level of well wishing.
Kind of honoring or dignity of the life.
And bringing that energy towards yourself.
Maybe even saying something kind of silently or mentally to yourself.
Like I respect the life that's here.
Honor the person that's here.
They're trying their best.
That I'm trying my best.
Through the hardships and the good times.
That there's dignity here.
Life may not go how I want it to be going.
Or want it to go.
At times I might make mistakes or falter.
But even in those moments to have a real respect for the thriving and vitality of this life.
It's amazing that this life is here at all.
It's amazing that we were born at all.
We were once just a sperm and an egg and now this whole thing is here.
To just honor or revere ourselves.
To hold this interesting chance we get here.
Kind of with reverence or respect.
It's truly unbelievable as to what's going on that we're here at all.
And so let's treat this chance with some well wishes.
Some dignity.
Always readjusting,
Re-correcting.
When we get down on ourselves.
Getting a self pity.
When we falter in self doubt.
When we find ourselves in those places.
And can bring a little bit of presence or awareness.
To those more collapsed mental and emotional states.
We stop,
Take a few breaths.
Notice what you can see and hear and feel in the moment.
Bringing attention outside of thought and emotion more to the senses.
What you can see and hear right now.
And to see that this is a new fresh moment.
Each moment has never happened before.
We can always stop and pause and choose to invite some more dignity and respect in.
For the life that's here.
To honor this life path.
However it's going.
And to restart fresh and new right now.
Can I feel a little more reverence for the life that's here?
Can I open to the current moment outside of thought?
Can I take in that things are pretty okay?
Right here outside of thought.
In this very moment.
Things are pretty okay.
Can I readjust to that?
And feel a little honor for the life path that's unfolding here.
Feel a little reverence for these cells and organs and beating heart.
And honor the being that's here trying to thrive.
Trying to get along.
Can I honor the life that's here?
Can I be with this life with reverence?
And in the last couple minutes here.
It's bringing a renewed intention.
Inviting a little more dignity or respect.
For the life that's here.
And as you go out into your day or night after this exercise.
So re-relax over and over.
Into a little more self honoring.
A little more self respect.
To carry this reverence through your hearts and your being.
Just inviting in self reverence,
Self respect.
In many moments throughout your day.
