Lesson 2
No Amount Of Time Is Too Short + 2 Minute Meditation
Meditation is about beginning again and again. In this lesson, you’ll learn that wandering away – whether getting lost in thoughts or missing a few days – is part of the practice. Lesson 4
When To Meditate + Tuning Into Your Energy Throughout The Day
Considering what time of day to meditate is an important but often-overlooked part of preparing to practice. If you aren’t realistic (for example, trying to practice in the morning if you aren’t a morning person), you are likely to run into challenges. This lesson will share tips for how to create a sustainable habit and will take you through a pros and cons list of morning, midday, and evening practice. Then you’ll be guided through a reflective practice of connecting with your energy throughout the day to visualize the best time for you to incorporate meditation.

Lesson 5
Where To Meditate + Eyes Open Meditation
If you’re trying to meditate consistently, it’s important to consider where you will practice. For some, having an inspired, elevated, sacred space for meditation (such as an altar or shrine) can be wonderfully supportive; for others, this creates too much pressure and can hinder progress. In this lesson, you’ll learn about having a Plan A, B, and C for meditation locations, and you’ll explore the merits of meditating in mundane places, like right in your bed! This lesson concludes with an open-eyed meditation to help you be in mindful presence in the space you’re in right now.

Lesson 6
How Often To Meditate + “Even When It’s Not Working, It’s Working” Mantra Meditation
Consistency is the key to meditation practice. Rather than insisting on daily as the only acceptable cadence, this lesson invites you to assess where you are with your practice now and where you would like to be. You’ll set a manageable goal that feels good, notice the impact and your somatic responses, and then acknowledge that you won’t always meet that goal (and that’s okay!). The lesson concludes with a mantra meditation designed to acknowledge moments of distraction and practice accepting your efforts as enough.

It’s time to put it all together and be strategic in making your meditation practice more consistent! In this lesson, you’ll review the key considerations explored in the course: how long to meditate and in what position, when and where to practice, and how frequently. And you’ll be reminded of one of the most important takeaways – noticing the impact to motivate you to return. The final practice begins with a brief warm-up for seated meditation, followed by a short and simple practice. Thanks for joining!
