Inspired by the deity Bhuvanesvari as an expression of space, this practice is to allow us to feel the full expansion of self into the experience of space within and with-out. This is a purely physical guidance through the body in a seated position (either on a cushion or chair). It is a voice-guided session with some beautiful background bird noises recorded in beautiful Morocco.

Sitting comfortably in an upright seated position.

So you can sit upright effortlessly.

We're not trying to stretch the body upright,

But we are relaxing the body upright.

We're going to allow ourselves to observe our seat,

The contact we have with our cushion or chair,

Whatever we may be seated upon,

The contact we have with the floor.

And we're going to observe that contact as our initial point of being pulled to an object of awareness.

But with that object of awareness,

We're not identifying with that.

We are present with that awareness of our seat,

That awareness of the floor.

But we're going to allow the nature of our awareness to surround that.

So our awareness is within the space of our seat.

We are present with that,

But not identified with that.

And we're going to allow our awareness to move up into the body now to feel that light rising through the body,

That effortless rising through the body.

Perhaps we may attune ourselves to the spine,

Perhaps we may attune to the area in front of the spine or the torso as a whole.

But again,

We're going to allow that to sit within the space of awareness.

So our body is an object within space.

It's not impacting or disturbing the space.

It's simply sitting within the space.

And our attention,

Our awareness is within that space.

So we are simply witnessing this light,

Upright posture of the body within space.

So there's no need to pull into the identification of the body.

We simply observe it,

We feel it as an object within space.

And then coming up into the head,

We can feel the physicality of the head.

But we may also be drawn to the observation of the thoughts that arise within the space of the head.

The physical head itself and our thoughts are simply objects within space.

So we can feel the space around the head and the space within the head.

And then we'll turn our attention to our breath.

Observing the breath as it moves in and out of the body.

As a movement of space within space.

The breath is surrounded by space and it is comprised of space.

And it brings space into the body.

And then you can feel your entire being.

The physicality of the body.

The energetics of the body.

The sensations of the body.

Any thoughts,

Feelings,

Emotions that might be present within the sphere of the body.

We can observe that all of these objects that make up that location that we refer to as I are simply objects within space.

Then returning to your breath.

Returning to feeling your seat.

You may bring your hands to your heart center in a prayer position and jaleem mudra.

And closing with Aum.

Aum.
