Allowing yourself to get into a comfortable position and connecting in with your breath.

Focusing on that rise and fall of your breath through your body.

Focusing on that peacefulness of your breath,

That natural wave of energy as it moves through your body.

Adjusting your body if you need to get more comfortable and just following your body's lead.

When we deal with long periods of stress,

Stress hormones are continually released into our digestive system and that stress can present symptoms.

It can feel like we have anxiety in our stomach.

It can feel like IBS or food sensitivities.

You may get sharp or dull pains in our digestive system.

Our body is constantly in communication with us,

Providing feedback to the environment that we're in.

When our environment is not in alignment,

We start to feel uneasy.

We start to present symptoms.

When we don't listen and we continue to stay in that environment,

We might find ourselves in a job that we've hung around for for way too long.

We might find that we're starting to get angry with the world.

We might be feeling tired and exhausted because we've just been trying for so long.

So allowing yourself this moment to listen to your body.

Connecting in with your stomach.

And what is your stomach trying to communicate to you?

Are you enjoying life?

Do you feel like you're spending time with the people and the places that you want to be spending time with?

Are you people-pleasing?

Are you trying to live up to someone else's expectations?

And if we just allow ourselves this moment to let go of all that pressure.

To let go of all the hats and the masks that we wear.

If we allow ourselves to release every expectation placed on us by someone else or even by ourselves.

If we knew that there was no way that we could make mistakes in life.

What would you be doing with your day?

Who would you be spending time with?

What would you like to be doing?

And this moment is a gift to yourself.

To allow yourself to connect into your dreams,

Your passions.

To connecting with what matters most to you.

Life is meant to be enjoyed and our body is designed to thrive and to keep us healthy.

And when things aren't in alignment our body communicates that to us through signs and symptoms.

By allowing ourselves the time to ponder and dream often.

We gift ourselves the time to focus on what we truly want to be doing.

And that's what we're here to do.

We're here to figure out who were we despite all of the programming.

Despite all of the pressure.

What is it that lights us up?

What is it that makes us feel grateful to open our eyes every morning?

You're not here to burn yourself out.

You're not here to be a people pleaser.

You're not here to fix everybody else.

You're here to listen to yourself.

To learn how to trust your gut instincts.

To learn how to listen to your intuition and to live a life that feels great.

That is full of love and joy and health and abundance.

You are here for a reason.

Whether you know it in this moment or not.

But by focusing on following our heart,

Listening to our gut instincts,

Listening to our solar plexus,

Our stomach.

It will guide us to a more peaceful life.

A life that you feel grateful for.

A life that inspires you and then also provides that light for someone else in your world that is needing that inspiration to follow their heart and to trust their intuition as well.

Connecting with this meditation whenever you need that reminder.

That your thoughts,

Your feelings and your dreams matter too.

Namaste.
