This is a morning meditation to fall in love with today. We're letting go of worrying about the future. We'll do a simple breathing exercise, followed by meditation. A gratitude practice wraps up this practice and brings us into the beautiful day ahead.

Good morning and welcome to your meditation for falling in love with today Instead of waiting for some future moment something to happen in order for us to be happy We're gonna create that joy within we're gonna fall in love with today Start by getting yourself in a nice seated position Your legs can be crossed underneath you your feet can be firmly planted on the ground Whatever is most comfortable and we're gonna bring in some slow calm breaths through our nose Breathing in all the way up to the top of our chest Holding the breath for just a moment or two and letting the breath out through an open mouth Breathing in slowly through the nose Filling the belly and the chest with air holding at the top and letting it out Just continuing to breathe in that cycle Bringing your awareness to the breath To what you're doing right now Noticing if any thoughts come up about something else that needs to happen something that needs to be done You notice how the mind tries to pull you away from the present moment Gently,

Let go of those thoughts Keep your awareness on the breathing pattern you're doing right now Feel yourself getting more and more relaxed with every exhale Releasing the controlled breathing Relaxing your shoulders Breathing in your natural rhythm Letting go of the face muscles Relaxing the jaw and the stomach Just noticing your breath The way it naturally happens Your thoughts They're okay Just noticing them and letting them pass on by like clouds in the sky Noticing where the mind goes Bringing yourself back to the awareness behind the thoughts to the present moment Smiling as you sink deeper into the here and now falling in love with today Falling in love with noticing where the mind goes Noticing each breath you take Relishing in it Smiling just noticing what's happening in your body of your mind Just smiling and observing it all Feeling the present moment noticing the sounds Noticing the feelings Just enjoying right here right now Pulling one of your hands up and placing it over your heart Breathing into your heart Thanking your heart Keeping you alive This beautiful body this beautiful life on this beautiful planet creating a sense of gratitude Not because everything's perfect or just the right things happen to go your way But for life itself the journey the adventure Breathing in that gratitude now bringing in Sense of gratitude just for today Knowing that today is an adventure Surrendering to whatever happens today Letting go of trying to control the day ahead smiling Breathing into your heart and feeling the gratitude Whenever you're ready Relax your hand into your lap Gently open up your eyes and prepare for a beautiful day ahead No matter what happens it gets to be an adventure
