A guided meditation for those who have felt the weight of expectations, the need to shrink, or the pressure to be who others needed them to be. This meditation is an invitation to reconnect with your true self, to release old conditioning, and to step fully into your wholeness. Take a deep breath, find a quiet space, and allow these words to guide you home to yourself. You are already enough.

Hello and welcome.

Begin by finding a comfortable position,

Sitting or lying in a space where you feel safe.

Grab yourself a blanket or some cushions,

Whatever you need.

Take your time to settle in.

Get yourselves comfortable.

And when you're ready,

Not only when you're ready,

I invite you to gently close your eyes.

But if that doesn't feel right right now,

That's okay.

You can close them later when you feel ready.

Whether your eyes are closed or open,

Take a nice deep breath in,

A full breath in,

And just let it go.

Another deep breath in,

Up,

Up into your heart space.

And exhale.

Let your shoulders soften,

But no forcing.

Let your jaw unclench and allow your body to settle into stillness.

You are exactly where you're meant to be.

Let your breath settle into its natural rhythm.

And let me guide you on a short meditation.

There was a time when you knew who you were.

A time before the world asked you to be quieter,

To be softer,

To be smaller,

To be better behaved.

Before you learned that love sometimes came with conditions,

That being good,

Being easy,

Being what they needed,

Kept you safe.

Take a deep breath in and exhale.

So you tucked parts of your life away,

Parts of yourself,

The wildness,

The loud laughter,

The questions that made them uncomfortable,

The dreams that felt too big,

Too impossible.

And you became who they needed you to be because survival asked for it.

You learned how to read the room before you even knew how to read words.

You became a shapeshifter,

Molding yourself into the version of you that kept their love intact.

Take another deep breath in as you let these words settle.

But what about the love you needed?

What about the self you placed in the shadows?

Listen.

That part of you never left.

That part of you never went anywhere.

She has been waiting.

He has been whispering.

They have been patient.

And now,

After all this time,

It is safe to return to yourself.

Not the version they needed,

But the one you are.

The one you are.

Breathe in deeply and let it go.

You are allowed to outgrow the mold you once fit into.

You are allowed to take up space in ways that once felt dangerous.

You are allowed to become big again,

Bold again,

Whole again.

No more shrinking.

No more silencing.

No more putting yourself away.

It is time.

It is time.

Time to stand in the fullness of who you are.

Time to love the parts of you that once felt unworthy.

Time to reclaim the joy,

The depth,

The fire that was always yours.

Take a slow,

Deep breath in.

Hold it for a moment.

And exhale.

You are not here to be what others need.

You are here to be what you are.

And you,

In your wholeness,

In your raw and radiant truth,

Are already more than enough.

Welcome home to yourself.

When you feel ready,

Gently,

Gently,

Bring your awareness back into your body.

Wiggle your fingers.

Wiggle your toes.

Maybe a big stretch.

Maybe a twist.

Maybe a turn.

Take one final,

Deep breath in.

And exhale slowly.

And when you are ready,

Only when you're ready,

Gently,

Gently,

Open your eyes.

Stay with what's come up with you,

What's come up in you.

And carry this truth with you throughout the day,

The week.

You are enough.
