Hello and thank you for joining me today.

Today I will share a practice with you to cultivate inner stillness as a way to release and reduce stress.

So please find a comfortable and quiet place where you can sit or lie down.

Make yourself even five to ten percent more comfortable perhaps putting a pillow underneath your hips or if you're lying down resting a blanket over your body.

I invite you to close your eyes and take a deep breath allowing yourself to relax and let go of any tension in your body.

Take a moment to acknowledge and release any thoughts or worry that may be on your mind.

Imagine them drifting away like clouds in the sky leaving behind a clear and tranquil space within you.

Now bring your attention to your breath.

Notice the sensation of each inhale and exhale.

Feel the gentle rise and fall of your chest or the coolness of the air as it enters and leaves your nostrils.

As you continue to breathe deeply and steadily imagine yourself in a serene and natural setting.

It could be a peaceful forest,

A quiet beach,

Or a beautiful garden.

Picture the details of this place,

The colors,

The scents,

And the sounds.

Now imagine a soft and warm light surrounding you,

Surrounding your entire being.

This light represents pure love and inner peace.

Feel this light spreading throughout your body soothing any areas of tension or discomfort.

And perhaps as you feel this light growing within and with outside of your body you feel your belly soften,

Your chest expand as you inhale,

Allowing this light to grow with each inhalation.

And as this light grows it penetrates deeply into your being,

Touching your heart and your soul.

Feel its healing energy wash away any stress,

Anxiety,

Or negativity that is holding you back from being in this present moment.

Perhaps holding you back from meeting your life and the joy within it.

Using the exhalation to release and let go.

That inhalation to continue to build this vibrant light.

Now take a moment to connect with your heart center.

Visualize a radiant ball of light in the center of your chest,

Pulsing with love and compassion.

With each breath feel this light expanding and radiating outward,

Filling your entire being with a sense of profound peace and harmony.

Now bring to mind a positive affirmation or mantra that resonates with you.

It could be something like I am at peace,

I am calm and centered,

Or I am filled with inner tranquility.

Now repeat this affirmation silently or aloud,

Allowing its meaning to seep deeply into your consciousness.

As you continue to breathe and repeat your chosen mantra,

Imagine yourself letting go of any attachments,

Expectations,

Or judgments.

Surrender to the present moment and embrace it fully.

Accepting yourself and everything around you just as it is.

Take a few more moments to simply be in this state of inner peace.

Feel the stillness and tranquility within you.

Allow yourself to rest in this peaceful space for as long as you need,

Knowing that you can return to it whenever you desire.

And when you feel ready,

Gently bring your awareness back to your physical surroundings,

Wiggling your fingers and your toes,

Perhaps stretching your body,

Raising your arms up overhead,

Taking a deeper and fuller inhale,

And open your eyes feeling refreshed,

Rejuvenated,

And deeply at peace.

Thank you for joining me for today's practice.
