We live in an era where our norm of beingness is littered with a constant state of busyness,

Of dysregulation and of unease,

Further taking us down a path that disconnects us from ourselves.

Restlessness disengages us from the core of us,

Our presence.

The very fabric of where we will find our most peaceful state.

What many may not be able to articulate in feelings of trying to find a reprieve from the restlessness,

The burnout,

Stress or disconnection,

Is that there is a search for a path that takes one home to themselves,

Their true self,

Their most peaceful self,

The self that can breathe in ease without resistance.

For many of us,

This can feel far-reaching and like a distant dream.

We can be made to feel that we have to run away,

Hide,

Isolate,

To find these moments.

That to meet with this requires us to move away from ourselves,

Into another place,

Person or thing.

But what if for now we just let go of that belief?

That we let go of the belief ease and rest isn't accessible to us in the simplest moments.

That we have the power to carve it out and give it to ourselves,

Even if it's just for a few moments a day.

Let us take this time now to connect you to these few moments,

To de-armor any tension you may hold now of resistance to just being here right in this present moment.

Let us take this time now to reconnect you to the ease and rest you deserve.

Close your eyes and take a deep breath in and out,

Allowing each breath to guide you deeper and deeper into yourself.

Let each breath release any tension you may be holding in your head,

Neck,

Jaw,

Chest,

Hips and glutes,

Calves,

And then feet,

And feel it melt into the ground beneath you.

Feeling every muscle fiber in your being let go of the tension and trusting the ground beneath you will hold you as you allow more relaxation and ease into your body now while you listen to the following words.

In this moment,

I grace myself in accepting this solace and peace where the demands of the world and every day begin to slow down,

And the presence of this now moment is all I need.

With each breath,

I welcome a tranquil sigh,

Allowing each inhale in and exhale out to unwind any armor in my heart,

Body,

And mind,

Letting the space in between each breath suspend time further,

Serenading any sorrows and resistance I may carry,

Aiming to withhold from me the beauty,

Gifts,

And essence I deserve to give myself by just being in this space and letting it hold me.

In this space of solace,

I find myself in now.

I give myself the chance to mend,

Heal,

And console my weary heart,

My tired mind,

And the parts of me that remain restless.

I give myself permission to just be here with myself,

To allow this space to be enough,

To allow this quiet to be a balm to my soul,

To remind me that this space with just my breath is a gift I am worthy of,

Befriending my weary self in all of my love,

In all of my undivided attention,

Reminding myself of my deservingness,

Of total wellness,

Of quiet,

Calm,

And ease,

A space that holds me and allows my sweetest release.

Take this time now,

For the next few minutes,

To just be in silence with your presence.

Allow each breath in and out to remind you of the power of embracing yourself in this way.

Slowly welcome the present moment by allowing some gentle movement back into your body while slowly opening your eyes into the space in front of you.

My hope is that this practice was a reminder of how simple it can be to gift yourself with the ease and rest you inherently deserve.

With even just a few moments in your day,

There are gifts you can lend to yourself to help build total balance and well-being.

Powerful and simple. I used this to open to other things I've been locking myself out of lately. It's a great meditation to unlock what I've been cutting myself off from. Thank you!

I really like her vibe. I connect to her voice. For meditation purposes I tend to lean towards the female voice. Good meditation session. I look forward to more of these each day.
