Welcome to this meditation dedicated to your happiness at work.
For almost 10 years I worked in the marketing industry.
I was facing constant daily pressure with bosses and co-workers that were challenging to be around.
I lost count of how many times I had lunch in front of the computer with no idea of what time I was going to get home,
Already thinking that I wouldn't have time to spend with my loved ones.
I was often in fear of being scolded or fired as I wasn't sure if what I was doing was correct.
Sometimes all I needed to hear was keep calm,
Everything will be fine.
If stress and anxiety have stolen your ability to think clearly or if you think that your effort has not been recognized,
Know that everything will be fine.
My intention is that at the end of this practice you will feel calm and more conscious to deal with your daily challenges wisely.
Let's start by finding a comfortable position that allows you to be alert without falling asleep.
Close your eyes now.
Focus on the present moment and gently let go of any thoughts about tomorrow.
Take a few deep breaths.
As you inhale,
Feel your abdomen filled with fresh air and as you exhale,
Feel your abdomen relax.
Bringing your attention to the quality and rhythm of your breath.
How does it feel to breathe consciously?
Some physical manifestations of tension might mean a high level of stress accumulated in the body.
Notice if there is any tension in your shoulders and if there is,
Allow yourself to do some circular movements forward and backward.
As many times as necessary.
Do you feel any tension in your back?
What about your neck?
Consciously relax these areas.
Relax your hands.
The muscles in your face,
Your legs and feet.
Do you have accumulated stress in any other part in your body?
Let that part completely relax.
As you keep breathing naturally,
Let the sense of peace take over you.
You deserve this quality time with yourself.
For a long time,
You may have avoided getting in touch with uncomfortable feelings that make you nervous.
Maybe you think you shouldn't be feeling that way.
Then you press the autopilot button and go on with your life carrying the weight of stress.
The time has come to bring awareness to the source of this physical and mental exhaustion.
Take one more deep breath and imagine a stressful day at work.
See clearly what has been keeping you nervous and agitated.
Perhaps in those moments you feel frustrated,
Angry because you cannot see the result you envisioned.
How does your mind respond to those moments?
What about your body?
What signals does it send you?
Explore these sensations with curiosity.
Everything is fine.
If you feel the need to say out loud what you want to express for a long time,
Welcome this call,
Put it out.
You are safe here.
Even in uncomfortable situations,
You need to be careful about how you digest what your body absorbs.
Just like food,
Your body also needs time to digest words,
Images,
And goals that you outline.
How have you been digesting the information you absorb?
What can be done to make the digestion process even more effective?
How can you choose answers over reactions?
Stress and anxiety are mental,
Physical,
Or emotional reactions to situations that we cannot control.
Especially at work,
We are faced with circumstances where we have very little control or no control at all.
But just like the waves in the ocean,
We can learn how to surf on them even without knowing how they will be.
So connect with your inner wisdom where the answers you seek are and reflect.
How has the desire to control certain situations affected your level of stress?
What issues do you have the power to solve?
What small change can you make today to focus on what is under your control?
Keep breathing naturally without forcing anything.
You are doing great internal work.
Dealing with the obstacles you have faced,
I suppose you have already thought about changing your job.
You must also have noticed that changes occur according to the divine time.
Everything is connected to a greater purpose,
Which is your personal evolution.
Let's understand how your work has been an ally to your evolution.
What skills have you acquired while working on your actual job?
Think of those colleagues who have already challenged you.
How have these difficulties helped you grow?
How has your job provided you the financial and intellectual support that your soul needs today?
The quality of the energy flowing in the environment where you perform your tasks also contributes to your level of contentment.
With that in mind,
How could a physical cleanse help to transform possible stagnant energy?
Remember to focus on possibilities,
Not obstacles.
You are not your job or any other social role you play in the physical world,
You are a being of light who is experiencing human life to learn and be happy.
Are you willing to choose happiness?
The more you raise your perspective of the challenges you face at work,
The more peace and serenity you are going to experience.
Allow the universe to conspire in your favor regarding the next steps in your professional life.
