Hello,

Dear one,

Namaste,

Welcome to your meditation.

I am Lini and today we are going to practice mindfulness to change unwanted habits.

We can easily get caught up in repetitive cycles that makes us feel trapped and hopeless.

It may be related to work,

Eating,

Relationships,

Overstimulation or other areas that may affect our daily routine.

Maybe you are trying to improve the relationship with yourself.

I understand you.

I acknowledge that sometimes it can be hard to transform what no longer serves us.

Just keep in mind that you are perfect the way you are.

What you want to change is the habit that is nothing wrong with you.

You are a special being and I'm here to support you to feel hopeful again.

You are going to relax and understand the habit that you'd like to change.

Let's start by choosing a position that allows your body to relax and close your eyes.

Breathe slowly,

Creating space for stillness to grow from within.

Consciously breathe in and breathe out.

If there is any tension in your body,

Now is the time to let it all go.

This is your moment to release and surrender.

Let the gratitude for this moment to nourish every cell in your body.

Enjoy the connection with your inner world.

You needed a few minutes for yourself,

Right?

Now that you are more relaxed,

I would like you to bring up memories of the moment when you first adopted this habit.

Try to recall the earliest memories that you have of this pattern.

It may have started a long time ago or it may be a recent pattern.

What was happening in your life at that moment?

Maybe you were feeling a discomfort or pain.

Perhaps you were excited when all this took place.

It's okay to make contact with whatever you felt,

You are doing great.

What else has influenced you to adopt this habit?

Bring your full attention to the motivation behind it as nothing happens for no reason.

If you don't find all the answers today,

It's okay,

The world already pressures you enough.

Just relax and be open to this mindful experience.

Now take another long and nourishing breath and come back to the present moment.

How has your life changed since then?

Gently ask yourself what is keeping this repetitive cycle alive?

It's okay to follow your thoughts,

You are protected by your high level of awareness.

Become familiar with the sensations that you feel when you are in contact with this habit.

Are there any urges involved?

How does your body feel when the imposed act arises?

What about your mind?

What about your soul my dear?

Observe the urge without actually reacting to it.

See yourself stopping for a few minutes before acting upon the repetition.

The impulse comes and goes with ease as you are very attentive.

The autopilot mode gives space to the mindful mode and all this process happens with kindness and self-compassion.

Any habit that you carry starts with the quality of your thoughts.

They determine how you are going to feel and what you are going to do.

Connect with the new habits that you want to implement in your life.

They cherish your soul and elevate your wellbeing.

Play this new experience in your mind and see yourself acting in a different way,

More connected to your wisdom and intuition.

You are mindfully responding instead of reacting.

Continue to breathe consciously and bring with you the truth that you are a resilient being.

Anything that you have learned so far can be unlearned or relearned.

Change doesn't happen overnight.

Be patient and compassionate with yourself.

Maybe just being open to change is a great step and it might be enough for now.

Remember that you are doing your best to transform yourself one step at a time.

And when you heal,

The world around you heals with you.

Our practice is coming to an end.

Feel free to open your eyes and come back to your day.

May you feel grounded and in peace.

I'll see you in our next journey.

Namaste.
