Music We will be having a conversation about healing today.

So I am happy to see you here.

Welcome.

Music Music So today we scheduled this talk to exchange some ideas and some knowledge,

A little wisdom about healing.

This is something that I really like to think about,

To talk about because this word healing is in the mouth of every therapist,

Doctor,

Health worker.

And is also something that is being talked about in psychology sessions,

In coaching sessions by influencers and YouTubers.

And this is a subject that is being explored in many ways.

So I would like to say something about it.

When we talk about healing,

We do not talk about only the physical body's healing.

We talk about healing as a whole person.

As we know that we are a physical body,

Landing the tools and the possibilities to a spirit to live on.

So therefore we are spirits living a physical experience,

But we are also this physical body that we are using at this time.

We really need to take good care of our body and our souls.

But most people forget that when we talk about healing,

We really need to talk about how healing happens and what is supposed to go on when healing is,

When we are in the process of healing.

How healing expresses itself in our body,

In our soul.

Why it is important to pursue healing,

Even though sometimes people might be just giving up their health and their body's function and trying to cope with whatever they have.

Instead of looking for healing.

Why it is important to understand and to rely more in our innate capacity of healing than on outside sources like medication and any kind of medical intervention.

Why it is important to understand that we heal when we want to heal and we heal when we are willing to give up whatever lifestyle we had prior to get sick or to get the disease we are dealing with.

So these are some topics that I want to talk about today that I feel that it's very important to address in any kind of healing process that people are going through.

First of all,

I would like to say that we are all able to heal.

We are all able to change the life we are having today in order to experience a different kind of situation.

We are all able to also to understand why and in what area we need to take a deeper look and understand and put some effort in changing,

Giving another direction to the life we are living now.

So,

For instance,

In any given day that I wake up without deciding that I need to do something different with my life.

It is good to know and have a very good understanding that whenever I wake up and I don't care about changing,

Not a single step,

Not a single action that I'm used to do every single day.

I will continuously be having the same kind of outcome that I had days before,

Weeks before,

Months before or years before I started to live my life the way I am doing today.

So it is not much to,

I don't think I will be mistaken when I say that the first thing that we need to do when we decide to heal our life,

And it doesn't matter what we have,

It doesn't matter what the conditions we are trying to heal,

Is we need to make a commitment to ourselves to change.

And to change small things first,

Then changing big things.

And that includes really,

Really,

Really small aspects of our lives that we usually don't think about as being able to promote a big change in our lives.

So when I wake up in the morning and I do my morning routine exactly the same way I've been doing for years,

And I am searching and seeking for a change,

I should ask myself,

What can I do different today that could take me to lead a different kind of day?

Should I change the place I have breakfast?

Should I change what I eat for breakfast?

Should I change the kind of shower that I take?

Should I take a cold shower instead of a really warm one?

Or should I take a warm shower instead of a cold one?

You know,

Those little things that we can change to drive our lives to healing,

They are really,

Really important.

Because we are used to approach healing with very high expectations.

And no matter in what area of your life,

Whenever you have high expectations,

The probability that you will get frustrated increases as the expectations gets higher and higher.

So when we decide to take little steps,

When we decide to promote small changes in our lives,

It's a better beginning for anything,

Any change we want to see happening.

Even the greater ones,

The huge ones,

The big ones,

Even those changes that we don't believe that will be affected by the change or the adaptation of that small little habit or pattern that we have.

So why going through that?

Why do we need to heal?

That's the question that many people don't know how to answer or never ask themselves.

Because more important than answering the questions,

We need to ask the questions.

So the question I would like you to ask yourself,

Why do I need to heal?

And once again,

I will say that do not expect answers in a verbal way.

Just feel it.

Why do I need to heal?

What will I gain?

What will I take from healing?

How my life will improve and how these improvements will affect others in my life.

Why healing is something that I should pursue?

Why don't I just settle with this condition or this illness or this disease and take the medicines my doctor told me to take and that's it.

And I go on with my life.

Sometimes there are conditions that we have the feeling that there's no healing for it.

Sometimes you go to the doctor and the doctor tells you,

You know what,

You just need to learn how to deal with it and life goes on.

And sometimes people just go to the doctor and the doctor tells them,

You know what,

Live the best life you can because in such amount of months you won't be able to be here anymore.

And sometimes those things happen,

You know,

Sometimes the death comes after those three or four months,

Sometimes you learn how to deal with the disease and just go on with your life taking a bunch of medicine,

Keeping yourself from doing things or whatever.

And yes,

Life just carries on in a good way,

In a satisfying way.

But it is important to understand that sometimes people that get prognostics like you have three more months to live,

They outlive that for years and years.

And sometimes people who get diagnostics like,

You know what,

You have this and this condition,

You have to learn how to deal with this,

Take your medication,

Don't do that or do that and you will be fine.

And people just don't accept fully that sentence of this is what is going to happen to you.

And they go for something else,

They dig deeper and they look deeper and yes,

They hear something inside of them.

And let me tell you,

Most of the time you wouldn't think that has any relation with that and they change that condition or that disease or that situation where they saw themselves obliged to act in a certain way or take such and such medication.

So they could live a satisfactory life.

So yes,

Change can happen.

Yes,

We should listen to our doctors and follow their suggestions or their indications for treatments and medication.

But we should never just give up and just say,

Okay,

I have this and that's life,

I will be dead in five months or a year or whatever.

Because ultimately,

We know that.

And I tell you more,

People who get a prognostics like,

You know,

Your life will end in five months.

They have a kind of information that we don't in our life can end tomorrow.

You know,

People who get this prognostics who get told,

Listen,

You have five more months to live.

They kind of get some privileged information that most of us don't,

Because we don't really know when it's going to be our turn to pass on and go to the spiritual life and go back to the spiritual life.

So this kind of prognostics shouldn't be used to bring you lack of hope or fear,

Because ultimately,

When a doctor tells you you have five more months to live,

Let me tell you,

That's not even sure.

You cannot even be sure of that,

Because tomorrow something else might happen and your life might end there.

You know what I mean?

So why just embracing that prognostics and drive your life towards that end,

You know?

Viktor Frankl used to say that when people survived,

The people who survived on living on Auschwitz and all those horrible camps under those horrible conditions were people who had something to look up to,

Were people who had inside their hearts the hope and the expectation that someday that would end and they would change their lives.

So hope is something absolutely important to live,

To go on with our days,

No matter in what condition you are.

Hope is important to make you wake up in the morning and go for that walk and take that green juice that doesn't taste good.

And going through your morning routine,

Doing the things you should do and changing whatever you think you need to change,

Because hope drives us through our day and in the direction of our purpose and our mission and that's how we find meaning to our lives.

And I'm going to tell you once more about Viktor Frankl.

He said,

Giving meaning to your life is the only way to have a good life.

So whenever we just accept something like your life is going to end in five months without having a hope that that might be wrong in either way,

Which means your life can finish tomorrow in spite of the doctor telling you that he would live five more months,

Or your life will go on for years and years and you will have your child,

Your grandchild,

And probably you will bury some of them because you're going to live up to be 100 years old.

So one thing about healing that I can tell you is that we need to hope,

We need to have hope in our hearts.

We need to understand that whatever the diagnostic you had,

Whatever the prognostics you had,

There is always hope because no one really knows how much life we have to.

.

.

No one knows for sure how much life we have inside of ourselves to keep us walking and doing what we have to do and growing and evolving and having the experiences we need to have in this physical body to learn in our souls,

In our spirit,

What exactly we came to do here.

So that's why I'm saying that hope is important because that single thing can tell you you do need to heal because no matter how bad people told you about your condition or no matter how bad you feel right now,

There is always a possibility of growing well out of that.

So why do we need to heal is the question we make,

But how do I understand that healing is important no matter how bad I think my situation is?

It's another question that we need to think about it and I don't have all the answers to you.

I only have some insights and some wisdom,

Little wisdom that I can bring to the table.

So why do I need to put effort on healing even when I was told that I have no.

.

.

That there is no hope for my case?

Well,

I need to put effort on healing even when I was told that there is no hope for my case because nobody knows when my life will end.

And there is no doctor or mathematician or statistics or accounts that can tell me for sure when my life will end.

First because my life can end tomorrow or in five seconds while we are here.

Second because there are many many people who don't buy out that thing,

You will die in five months,

And they twist and turn their lives and they survive that prognostic.

So that's why no matter how bad the situation it is we need to be able to understand and grasp the possibility of change.

The possibility of change in your body,

The possibility of change in your mind,

In your heart,

In your feelings.

I am talking now about your soul.

There is always a possibility of change and of a plot twist and of a creation of new possibility.

And there is always the possibility that that doctor that told you that you will not survive over three months,

That he was really wrong.

We are beings that we were taking from us the knowledge and the wisdom that our bodies are really really good at healing.

I'm going to say that phrase again.

We are beings that we got we were taken from us the knowledge the wisdom the intelligence that our bodies are absolutely amazing on healing themselves.

You know,

If you if you accidentally cut your arm in a couple of minutes,

Your skin will be releasing some liquids and will be working to close that wound to to heal to.

You know,

We have an innate intelligence and ability to heal ourselves in our physical body and in our mind,

Our spirit.

But we were taking that from us.

We had that taken out of us and why that happened.

We can discuss that in another opportunity.

But the thing that I want to tell you now and that is that we had that.

We are all born with that.

So we need to remind ourselves that no matter what's going on with our lives with our bodies,

No matter how sick we feel,

No matter how oddly bad we've been feeling day after day.

We have the power to change that because we have that innate ability to do that.

So next time you have a paper cut in your finger and those things hurt.

Pay attention on how you are going to behave when that happened because,

You know,

A paper cut is just a paper cut and it hurts a lot.

But we do not worry about it because we know that our body is going to heal.

So after having that paper cut,

Pay attention to your feelings and your lack of worry and your tranquility about that paper cut because it's just a paper cut and you know your body will take care of it.

Let's start to bring that feeling to the sore throat,

The flu,

The stomach ache.

One thing we know that we shouldn't do when we have a paper cut is be messing with paper again while that paper cut doesn't heal.

Because as much as we poke or as much as we interfere with that cut,

It will hurt more and probably will take a little bit more to start healing and closing.

So next time you have a stomach ache before reaching out to a pill or something,

Ask yourself what can I do or what have I done that my stomach is hurting so much?

Sometimes the answer is so simple and sometimes just being aware of how nervous you are,

Of how angsty you are or how angry you are,

Your stomach starts to soothe itself and you start to feel better.

And you will begin to watch how you are behaving because you know what?

When we explode with something or someone,

By the time we explode we generate something like 500 to 1000 different kind of reactions in our bodies.

And 2 to 3 minutes into this explosion we can start to feel bad already.

So we are able to start feeling good when in this example that I'm giving to you where your stomach is hurting,

When you breathe.

When you ask yourself why am I so angry?

When you drink a glass of water.

When you go outside and ground yourself a little bit,

Put your feet on the ground,

Your bare feet on the ground.

When you let go of the energy that is blocking your body.

You know I am giving you a simple example of how we should start dealing with our physical body.

But you can take that to any kind of diagnostic or disease or anything that is going on in your life because there are big things that happens in our bodies.

But they were small ones.

You know they could have begun with a simple paper cut kind of thing.

So that's why I am telling you that we need to pay attention and start asking ourselves what do I need to do to feel better?

How can I make myself feel better?

You know when you have a fever and you have the flu or something,

The first thing we should do is to throw ourselves in bed and rest.

But that's not true with many,

Many,

Many,

Many other conditions.

There are some things that when we get diagnosed on,

We should instead of throwing ourselves in bed and resting and then feeling sorry for ourselves and then licking the wounds and then and then and then,

We should go for a walk or go for a run or do a breathing exercise.

And having a trip to the grocery stores and buying fruits and vegetables and cleaning up our pantry and throwing out everything that is there that we shouldn't be eating and we knew we shouldn't be eating and we kept eating anyways.

But you know,

Why do I need to heal?

I heard some people saying,

I once heard this comment or I was actually asked this question.

My friend is under a lot of stress because he got a diagnosed,

A pretty bad diagnosed and a prognostic that he won't live past such and such time.

And his body is really failing himself.

And there's nothing to do.

There's absolutely nothing to do.

What is the point of keeping doing the work?

What's the point of keeping doing the meditation?

What's the point of keeping taking the green juice that tastes awful?

What's the point of keeping showing up to the prayer group?

Or what's the point of taking a walk to make his heart strong when his heart has nothing to do with it?

So I told you one part of the answer up to now that,

You know,

We never know how how sure that is.

We have spontaneous healings,

If you want to call that.

We have miracles,

If you want to call that.

You have your body waking up to the wisdom and the knowledge that it can heal itself.

We have all that.

But let's suppose we don't have anything like that.

I have another good reason for you.

A good reason to keep doing whatever you need to do to heal yourself,

Even though you think there's no need or,

You know,

Why bother?

Is that healing happens in our soul.

Our body is just a mirror of our soul.

Why bother healing?

Because life doesn't end when our physical body dies.

Why bother going through the trouble of doing a,

I don't know,

A shadow work or whatever kind of work you think it's good for you when my body's failing on me?

Because you are not your body.

Because you are a immortal spirit.

That has the eternity to heal.

To learn.

To grow.

To evolve.

Let's close our eyes a little bit.

Take a deep breath.

Another deep breath.

We need to do the work.

We need to keep doing the work.

Because ultimately,

We need to heal our spirit.

And it doesn't matter if the body is already failing you.

The work should be done until we expand our consciousness.

And we join light,

The Creator's love again.

Oh,

Malu,

You know,

Sometimes people are too frail and too tired and too unable to do any kind of work to keep healing.

Yes,

I know.

And that's true.

And that's not something we should expect or impose to anyone.

I am just telling you why.

Because,

You know,

I'm talking about.

.

.

We are talking about ourselves.

This knowledge is not for you to impose to anyone.

You know,

You should keep doing the work because even though your body is dying,

You are an immortal spirit.

And you will go on back to your spiritual life with all the junk that you've been carrying on through your incarnations.

You know,

That's not the point.

We're not doing that.

And yes,

Sometimes it gets to a point when people are really sick.

It gets to a point where they just need to be that.

And that is also part of the process of healing.

Do not fool yourself.

Sometimes the body is so frail and so fragile and so weak.

Sometimes the spirit is so tired and so overwhelmed that they just need to be.

They just need to live one minute after the other.

And that is also healing for the soul.

So we are not talking about that stage of illness and disease.

We are talking about stages before that.

The thing is that people.

.

.

Sometimes people give up as the paper cut sort of thing starts to happen in their bodies.

And they just,

You know,

What's the point?

I'm not doing anything,

Whatever.

I'm gonna drink my ass off.

I'm gonna smoke,

Whatever.

Because,

You know,

My body.

.

.

The doctor said I have two months to live,

So I'm going to live la vida loca.

And that's when we need to be aware.

For those two sets of reasons I told you,

The ones I spoke before,

That we never know.

We never know.

And if we have hope and we have a focus and we are looking to our mission and our purpose,

We should be doing whatever we need to change to go on with our lives.

Because that prognostics that you're gonna die in three months might never happen.

Never realize itself.

Or you can live.

.

.

You can die tomorrow.

So that's one reason to keep doing good things to heal,

No matter how hopeless we feel,

No matter how tired of life we are,

Because we are powerful beyond measure to heal ourselves.

And little things that we start changing in our lives can take us to a different kind of outcome.

And then the second group of reasons,

Not less important or more important than the other one,

When any process of healing is any process of healing,

We are actually healing our spirit because our body expresses exactly what's going on in our spirit.

Because the disease is not in the body,

It's in the spirit.

Because whatever ways we neglected our feelings,

Our ideals,

Our essence,

Is how that paper cut turned into something bigger and something bigger and something bigger.

So we need to act because we are healing our souls.

And then our bodies will reflect exactly what we are doing with our souls.

What I want to tell you,

My friends,

Is that there is always a good reason to heal,

To care,

And not to give up.

You know,

Any condition you have,

If you have diabetes,

If you have high blood pressure,

If you have stomach pain on a daily basis,

If you have back pain,

If you have tooth ache,

If you have cancer,

If you have MS,

If you have anything,

You should be always taking care of the root causes of your illness,

Working in your soul,

And of course,

Changing your diet,

Exercising,

Doing with your physical body,

In the material world,

Whatever you need to do to live a better life and to heal.

Because,

Let me tell you,

I really despise people saying that something is incurable,

Uncurable,

Or there is no cure for that thing.

A doctor that tells you,

You know,

There's nothing you can do,

You know,

Just go home and feel sorry for yourself and,

You know,

Enjoy life while you can,

That's the cruelest thing a doctor can say to a person.

That's very,

Very,

Very,

Very wrong because we should be able to understand that healing is a soul business,

That you heal your body when you heal your soul,

And that we should have chances,

Many chances.

And as we are lying there,

Actually with our body shutting down,

We need to be able to tell ourselves that we evolve,

And we grew through that disease.

We learned a lot.

We worked on ourselves a lot.

That's the message I had for you today.

I am a,

The words are fleeing,

But I have,

I am a uncurable optimistic.

For that,

There is no cure.

I really think that hope is something we should always have.

I really think that when our life has meaning,

When we find a meaning to our lives,

We will be fine.

And let me tell you,

I told you in another podcast or another talk,

The biggest mission we have when we incarnated and we come here to Earth to live this bodily experience is to grow,

To evolve,

To learn,

To get better,

To be better.

Thank you so much for being here.

Don't follow me.

Follow me.

Do my practices.

Come meditate with us live.

Thank you.
