Welcome to this inner child meditation to bring healing to any childhood trauma.
Please get very comfortable in a place where you will not be disturbed.
Let your eyes fall shut.
Allow yourself to relax.
Bring your palms to the center of your chest,
Over your heart.
Breathing deeply,
Feel the chest rise.
Exhaling,
Feel the chest fall.
Your heart center is your place of endless love.
Notice if you can feel your heart beating under your hand.
Breathe.
Now visualize yourself standing on a beautiful beach.
The ocean is blue in the distance.
You can hear the waves crashing on the shore.
The sound of seagulls flying overhead.
And there is a little child playing in the sand.
As you walk closer to this child,
You see that it is you.
You see that you are pure,
Full of innocence,
Enjoying your young life.
Your young self turns and sees you.
Their eyes are filled with love.
They open their arms wide,
And you embrace one another.
You sit down in the sand and begin to build a castle together.
The smile on your little face is mirrored by the smile on your adult face.
You are one in the same.
You are spending time together,
Doing whatever your child's self wishes to do.
Spending time together.
And over the years you know that this little child has been wounded in many ways.
Surrounded by other people,
Situations,
And even physical pains.
Allow for this child to share these moments with you,
Without being judged or wanting to change anything.
They just want to be heard.
You can feel weight being lifted from your soul.
You are embracing your little self.
Your inner child is being heard and you are listening.
You want to help your little self heal any old wounds.
So tell them that you are sorry that this has happened to them.
You tell them that it is not their fault.
A great relief comes across the little child's face and you feel it in your soul as well.
Joy is beginning to build naturally.
The freedom of being a child is coming into your existence.
Your little child's self is being respected and honored by you.
Now tell your little self that you will give them a balloon.
A big red balloon.
And this balloon represents letting go of those old memories of anything that harmed them.
You hand them the balloon with a long white string.
They look into the balloon and give away all their hurt and worry.
As the balloon gets bigger and bigger with any troubles,
It pulls higher and higher into the sky.
The little child is holding on to the string still.
Go ahead,
Tell them it is time to let this go.
And you see their little hand open up and the white string is released.
The red balloon of worries and troubles goes flying high into the sky.
You both watch as the balloon gets smaller and smaller.
You see a beautiful smile come across their face and they begin to run around enjoying their childhood just as they should.
You feel comfortable.
You feel loved from deep within.
You love yourself more than anyone has ever loved you.
Self-love is the first love.
As you watch as your inner child runs and plays around you in a state of pure joy,
You are filled with love.
A very deep and unwavering healing is happening to you right now.
Allow it.
Very good.
Now it is time to embrace your little inner child.
So call their name,
See them turn your way,
Open your arms big and wide and they do the same.
You run toward each other and embrace in a big hug.
You and your inner child are becoming one.
You are to remain childlike in your present life.
Now you have a pureness about you that you haven't felt in a very long time.
May you feel whole and blessed every day of your life.
You may open your eyes whenever you feel ready.
