Hello and welcome to this guided earth meditation.
This is Morgan McKinley here.
I'm so grateful to be here with you right now.
I invite you during this session to fully tune in and relax as I guide you through every step of this earth journey.
Whenever you are ready,
Sit or lie in a comfortable position,
Allowing yourself to fully lean back and surrender.
Gently close your eyes and start to bring your awareness to your breath.
Feel the way your breath flows in,
Expanding your chest and your belly.
Feel the way you let the air go on your exhales,
Letting your chest and your belly fall.
No need to change anything right now,
Just feeling the way the air fills you up and feeling the way you let the air go.
Gently start to deepen your breath,
Inhaling a little bit deeper,
Exhaling a little bit longer,
Breathing in through the nose,
Into the chest,
Into the belly,
Letting go of the belly,
Of the chest,
And out through the nose.
Let your breath expand into all parts of you and let it release everything that needs to be released.
On each breath,
You feel a little bit more grounded,
A little bit more relaxed.
Take a few more rounds of this deep,
Nourishing breath of the air that sustains us,
Perhaps sending a little gratitude.
Gently shift your awareness to the top of your head,
Perhaps noticing any sensations with the temperature,
Perhaps noticing nothing at all,
Either way is just perfect.
Continue to shift your awareness from the top of your head down into your forehead,
Noticing the space in between the eyebrows,
Perhaps noticing any tightness or tension,
Noticing the areas around the eyes and the temples,
Noticing the area around the cheekbones,
The nose,
The corners of the mouth,
Noticing your ears,
Your neck,
Your throat,
Your shoulders,
Your upper arms,
Your lower arms,
Your wrists,
Your palms,
Your fingers,
Simply noticing and allowing,
Noticing your chest,
Your ribs,
Your upper abdomen,
Your lower abdomen,
Your hips,
The front of your legs,
The back of your legs,
Your knees,
Your shins,
Your calves,
Your ankles,
The tops of your feet,
The bottoms of your feet.
And start to imagine that you are walking along a gravel path.
You hear the gravel crunching beneath your feet as you walk.
The sun is bright in the sky and you feel content and warm.
Off in the distance you see some trees and in the trees you see a small parting.
There are five stones in the entrance into this parting leading into the woods.
You feel compelled to step on those stones and step into this forest.
You take the first step into the round,
Smooth stone and you feel heavy and relaxed,
Sinking deeper and deeper.
You take the second step,
Feeling even more relaxed,
Sinking deeper and deeper.
You take the third step,
Feeling even more relaxed,
Sinking deeper and deeper.
You take the fourth step,
Feeling even more relaxed,
Sinking deeper and deeper.
You take the fifth step,
Feeling fully relaxed.
And on the next step,
You step into this beautiful forest.
You take a look and wonder at the tall,
Luscious trees brimming with life,
Plants and animals in every direction that you can see.
There is a soft,
Guided path leading deeper into this forest.
And you slowly start to walk along the path,
Feeling the way the fresh air feels on your skin.
You see small flowers lining the path.
You take a moment to stop,
Look at their intricate colors,
The shape of their petals,
And even their fresh scent.
You feel a sense of gratitude as you take the time to really stop and observe every part of this flower.
You send thanks to the flower and continue on your way.
You continue walking down a soft path,
Hearing some birds call above their beautiful song,
Calm and peaceful.
As you continue to walk through the woods,
You start to notice a parting in the trees.
You begin to see beautiful crystal blue lake,
And out in the distance,
There is a waterfall filling this lake with cool,
Fresh water.
The sun shining and reflecting onto the lake,
Creating beautiful sparkles and reflections.
On the edge of the lake,
You see a tree,
A tall,
Steady tree,
And you feel compelled to walk over to that tree.
You take a moment to observe the tree,
Looking at the texture and colors of the bark,
Looking at the leaves at the end of the branches,
And you sit down next to your tree,
Leaning your back against its steady base.
You notice yourself start to feel a little bit different.
You feel the energy of the tree starting to connect with you.
You notice that as you breathe,
The tree grows a little bit taller,
And as the tree grows a little bit taller,
You breathe a little bit easier.
You feel a connection to this tree as you realize the beautiful relationship you have with the tree,
And the things that you let go are the things that can allow the trees to grow.
The tree invites you to let go of anything else that you may be holding onto right now,
Any feelings or emotions.
Don't let them go because the tree can transform them.
The tree needs them to survive and grow and give back for you to survive and grow.
After some time with the tree,
You feel purified,
Relaxed.
You thank the tree for its grounding,
Nurturing energy,
And its powerful relationship to be able to transform.
You notice the sound of the waterfall out in the distance,
And you start to make your way over to the waterfall,
Listening to the beautiful sound of the water crashing into the lake.
As you listen,
You notice that the water is saying more,
Saying the things you need to be hearing right now,
The words you've wished you've heard but never had,
That you wish others had said to you but they never did,
Or some of the things you wish that you had said to yourself.
What do you need to hear right now?
What do you need to hear right now?
What do you need to hear right now?
What do you need to hear right now?
After some time,
You thank the waterfall for its deep knowledge and its strong,
Powerful voice.
Once you feel complete with what you need to hear from the waterfall,
You make your way over to the spot on the lake,
And as you're looking into the deep,
Crystal blue waters,
You notice your reflection.
You see yourself looking back at you,
And you feel a sense of love and gratitude for yourself,
For showing up on this earth,
But you also feel a sense of connectedness as you realize that just like the water,
The trees,
The animals,
You are part of this earth,
Just like water and the trees and the animals,
Incredibly beautiful and wise and strong in their own ways.
So are you,
Because you are part of this earth,
You belong here,
And you have birth and value simply because you exist,
You have beauty and wisdom simply because you are.
Seeing into the water and seeing yourself,
You're also seeing nature and the earth.
You feel a sense of gratitude for all parts of the earth because they are also part of you.
You feel a sense of gratitude for the rocks and the soil,
For the animals,
For the trees,
For the people and for yourself.
You feel a sense of gratitude for the rocks and the soil,
For the animals,
For the trees,
For the animals,
For the people and for yourself.
And after some time,
You feel complete.
You gently start to walk back towards the opening in the woods,
The soft gentle paths leading you to the forest filled with trees and plants and animals.
And you walk along the path thinking the trees,
The waterfall,
The lake,
The plants.
You see the five stones,
The bed,
Feeling calm.
Take a step on the first stone,
Starting to bring your awareness back into your physical body.
Take a step on the second stone,
Bringing your awareness to your breath,
Breathing a little bit deeper.
Take a step on the third stone,
Becoming more awake and aware.
Take a step onto the fourth stone,
Feeling more present into your body.
Take a step onto the fifth stone,
Becoming fully aware and awake in your body,
Perhaps wiggling your fingers and your toes.
You realize that at any time,
You can return back into that peaceful place,
A place of wisdom,
A place of insight,
A place of transformation,
A place of connection,
Because that place always exists in you.
You send feeling of gratitude to yourself for going on that journey and experiencing your journey exactly how you needed to at this time.
Whenever you are ready,
You can open your eyes and fully return back.
I wish you so much gratitude,
Love and strength on the rest of your day.
Namaste.
