Principles Of ACT: How To Become Psychologically Flexible & Thrive With Acceptance & Commitment Therapy

With Diana Hill

When faced with life’s challenges, it’s easy to lose track of what’s important and get stuck in your thoughts and emotions. Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is a modern approach to living that teaches you how to be flexible and take committed action towards what you care about, even in the face of obstacles. In this course, Diana Hill breaks down ACT into its 6 core processes (Being Present, Values, Acceptance, Cognitive Defusion, Perspective Taking, and Committed Action) and teaches you short practices to try on for yourself. This workshop is didactic, experiential and offers writing exercises to apply the principles of ACT to your life.

I just couldn’t connect with her concept. Her thoughts wandered some and overall, it didn’t engage me or motivate me.
