Please come into any grounding position that feels comfortable for you.
Close your eyes and begin by taking a slow deep breath in and as you exhale,
Allow your body to relax.
As you continue breathing slowly and deeply,
I want you to visualize a soothing wave of relaxation flowing from the top of your head,
Traveling gently down your face,
Relaxing every muscle as it moves past your eyes,
Your nose,
Cheeks,
And jaw.
Feel this wave of relaxation continue down your neck and shoulders,
Melting away any tension.
As this wave of relaxation travels down your arms,
To your fingertips,
And along your torso.
Notice how any tightness or tension is being released on the exhale.
Let this wave move down your legs and into your toes,
Leaving you in a deep state of relaxation.
And now,
I want you to imagine yourself at the top of a beautiful staircase with 10 steps.
With each step you descend,
Allow yourself to sink deeper into relaxation.

Visualize a younger version of yourself,
Embodying feelings of hurt,
Sadness,
And joy.
As you see this child,
Approach with kindness and compassion.
With every breath,
Imagine sending waves of love and reassurance to your inner child,
Offering comfort and understanding.
As you embrace this younger self,
See a soft,
Healing light surrounding both of you,
Full of warmth,
Safety,
And acceptance.
In your mind's eye,
Recall a cherished memory from your childhood,
A moment filled with joy and love.
Let this memory flood your heart,
Merging with the healing light around you,
And infusing your inner child with hope and belonging.
Make a promise to this younger version of yourself,
That you will always protect,
Nurture,
And love them.
Next,
Visualize yourself engaging in activities that brought you joy as a child.
Playing,
Laughing,
And exploring without fear.
Feel the happiness,
Feel your spirit,
Reinforcing the bond of love between your adult self and your inner child.
As you continue to imagine these joyful moments,
Remind yourself it's never too late to express love for yourself and heal the past.
As you continue to breathe slowly and deeply,
Embrace this healing energy and let these affirmations resonate within you.
I am safe and my inner child is cherished.
I allow myself to feel and heal past wounds.
It's okay to express my emotions and seek comfort.
I deserve love and kindness from myself.
I nurture my inner child with compassion.
