Welcome to Feel the Joy Meditation.

Find a comfortable seat.

If you can place your feet on the ground and have a nice straight spine,

Go ahead and create that in your body.

Or if you prefer to lay comfortably on a bed,

Feel free to do that as well.

Allow this to be your time to simply be,

Be reminded of the radiant energy of life that flows inside of you.

There is a great joy in life,

There is deep profound joy in simply being.

As you allow my voice to drop into the background,

Become aware of your breath.

You don't have to change your breath,

Just to focus on it.

Feel the air gently enter through the nostrils and calmly escape as you exhale.

For every moment of your life,

You are continuously breathing in and out.

This cycle,

This ritual is one of the purest essences of your life.

Feel your belly rise and fall as the air continues to ever so slightly and gently move in and out.

Each breath sending oxygen and life force energy to every cell in your body.

Each cell responds with a reaction and exchange of energy.

Every cell is vibrant,

Alive and reactive to your breath.

Each individual cell working together to form your body as a whole.

Feel for a moment just where your fingertips are,

Even if you don't move them,

You can sense where they are.

Now feel and sense your toes,

Maybe you notice a tingling,

A warmth or any other sensation.

Feel and notice your eyelids relaxed and heavy.

Notice how good it feels to allow your body to just be in this moment and to allow the breath to gently flow in and out.

With the next exhale,

Imagine a warm wave of relaxation flow through you from the top of your head to the tips of your toes.

Isn't it amazing that you can begin to calm your entire body by only using your thought?

Not a single movement is required.

Every few breaths do the same,

Exhaling and feeling a gentle warmth from your head to your toes and exhale relax.

Inhale and exhale relax.

Inhale and exhale let go.

Notice how simple this process is,

How little is required from you,

How profound this practice can be.

With only a thought,

You are able to shift your vibration to a state of calm.

Now let us introduce joy.

You are able to feel profound joy right now.

We seek joy in the past or the future but the reality is joy can only be experienced in this moment.

Feel the present joy that already resides inside of you.

It is a joy to feel the rhythm of your breath.

Take a breath and say to yourself,

It is a joy to breathe.

It is a joy to breathe.

Profound,

Sustainable joy is found in simplicity,

In nature,

In breath,

In kindness,

Simple everyday experiences.

With each following breath,

Feel into these affirmations.

I am alive.

It is a joy to be alive.

I can feel the energy in each breath.

It is a joy to feel the energy move through me.

I am joy.

I am love.

I am breath.

Every atom in my body is resonating with joy and peace.

I welcome peace and joy into every part of my life.

I trust in the process of life.

Joy flows through me into my environment.

I look at the world through the eyes of joy.

I am joy.

I am joy.

I am joy.

Stay here as the meditation ends,

Enjoying the peace and the quiet that you have created inside of your body,

Mind and emotions.

And when you are ready,

Open your eyes,

Find gentle sleep,

Feel the fulfillment and begin to wake the body.

Namaste.
