In this session, we'll allow the exhalation of breath to remind us that letting go is a natural and essential part of life's experience. In our five minutes together, I'll gently guide you towards letting go using the breath as a metaphor and guide.

Hello,

Melissa here with a session designed to help you release and let go.

When we look to our oldest and wisest teacher,

The breath,

We're reminded that letting go is actually something that comes naturally and is essential for us to sustain life and forward momentum.

All you'll need for this session is a few minutes of your time and an attention to your breath.

Get comfortable and when you're ready,

Let's begin.

Arriving in your practice with a deep inhale and a long and steady exhale.

On your next breath in,

Welcome all that needs to be released.

On your next breath out,

Just encourage the body to soften as what might feel uncomfortable begins to arrive into your awareness.

Take a few more breaths like this.

On your next inhale breath,

Start to feel the experience of taking in fresh air.

On your next breath in,

Start to feel a sense of taking in fresh new air.

On your breath out,

Beginning to let go,

Starting with the tension you may be holding in your body.

Breathing in to create more space in mind and in body.

Breathing out again to just soften,

Find more ease in mind and in body.

Breathing in to acknowledging what is.

Breathing out to surrender to possibility.

The more intense,

Prominent,

Or present anything that you're trying to release is here in your practice,

Maybe deepen the breath.

Invite more fresh air,

More newness,

New energy into the body with each breath in.

Really encourage a letting go,

A release in your exhale.

The bigger the burden,

The deeper the breath.

The busier the mind,

The slower the breath.

Using the inhales to create more space and the exhales to just soften into more ease and relaxation.

One more deep breath in as you exhale,

Letting go,

Letting go,

Letting go.

You can access this practice from anywhere you might be.

Take it with you as you ease back into your day.

I look forward to guiding you again soon.
