There are times in life where all we can do is "wait and see" and this meditation will allow you to do just that. To surrender to the peace within and to escape the anxiety that keeps you up into the night. You need not have all the answers. You need only to have control of the moment. Right now. This guided sleep meditation will help you find equanimity during uncertain times.

Relax,

Take a deep breath,

And fall into a deep and healing sleep that you have earned and deserve.

You need not have all the answers.

You need only to be present and to wait and see.

Because you are alright right now.

And you are not the only one to feel this way.

And for now,

The time is for sleep.

So get cozy and bunker down as I help lead you along.

I would like to welcome you to Michelle's Sanctuary.

I am Michelle and I am here as the guide that will connect you to the deepest parts of yourself and the reservoir of healing that exists within you.

I know at times you may feel very much alone.

You may feel that you are stuck and without options.

You may be striving for answers to problems that seem unsolvable.

But this is just a season.

And you have lived oh so many seasons and yet still you remain strong,

Vibrant and alive.

And you are also so very much in tune with what you need because you have sought out this meditation.

You have taken a great step to change your course towards being optimistic and being prepared to take on whatever comes your way.

And it's okay.

Because in uncertain times,

All we may do is wait and see.

And as your guide,

Know how deeply I empathize with all you are feeling right now.

I understand.

And I am here for you.

And if you have not heard this today or in some while,

Remember that you matter.

That you are loved.

And that your journey is just as important as anyone else's.

Even the most seemingly successful of people,

Perhaps those you even know personally,

Or those who inspire you and you have never met,

Have overcome their own obstacles as well.

This is just a part of the classes you signed up for in this life.

You are doing just fine.

You are doing the best you can right now.

When you may not know what to do.

But all you really need to do is let your body sink into your bed.

Imagine that you are being pampered.

That you are not just sleeping in any bed,

But it is the most luxurious bed.

With plush support,

With an imaginative design that answers your whims.

Imagine that this bed has special powers that will conjure the most pleasant and healing of dreams.

Enjoy the sensation of feeling loved.

Letting it ripple from head to toe with an electric energy.

And you may sigh out all your air.

Make a sound if you like.

Let it be a deep and heavy sigh that helps you let go.

Your body releasing every bit of tension.

At times when we are stressed,

Our breath may catch in our chest.

Our lungs may be restricted.

But now,

You may even imagine that the tops of your lungs are like security gates made of heavy carved mahogany wood.

That just open and let the current of your breath flow through like an evening's breeze.

A few more times,

Just sigh.

And take in all the air you can muster,

Sipping it in like you are taking in cool fresh water from a straw before letting it out.

Doesn't that feel good?

A little release allows you to be free.

Right now.

Letting it all go.

Worry is but a prayer for all the things we do not want.

And in uncertain times,

It is the default mode.

The loop that continues.

But right now,

I want you to imagine that loop as a circle.

It can be designed in any color that you desire.

And it's floating right before your face.

And you just concentrate on this thread that forms this circle before realizing that it has a break.

It is the smallest of openings that reveal the circle is not a circle at all.

And you may unravel it to see it is but a string.

And no longer can this worry go on in a loop.

The message of worry now transfers from one end to the other before it disappears into space.

You can see the worries you have had,

Like words and letters travel across the string and spread out when they reach the end,

Traveling away,

Free,

Floating through space.

Going to the place things go when they are no longer needed.

And your worries are no longer needed.

They never really were.

It was just your mind's way of trying to feel in control.

But you don't need to be in control.

And you do not need to pray for the worst things and the worst outcome.

Because that is all worrying will do.

And this is the same with your projections.

You can simply tell yourself that for right now,

When a concern or problem to be solved arises,

I don't know the answer.

It's okay not to know.

You are never expected to have all the answers.

You are learning through this life,

Enduring uncertain times,

As you are tasked with new lessons.

So just be kind to yourself.

Let yourself feel that it's okay.

You're okay.

Free of self judgment and the judgment of others.

Free of expectations.

You are not expected to solve this right now.

It's okay.

You're doing just fine.

For tonight you may sleep,

And tomorrow you may just wait and see.

And you may imagine for a moment that when you take in a sip of air,

You are breathing in patience.

As soon as this breath of patience hits your lungs and travels through your body,

You are able to feel a surrender and a warm current of healing energy through your body.

You are feeling patient.

You are feeling relaxed and calm.

And if you were to see yourself right now,

You would notice how an aura of light glows over you with a halo effect.

A soothing hue that resonates with your energy of patience,

Of kindness,

Of self forgiveness.

And worry has a counterpart known as fear.

But your fear cannot survive without you.

You keep it alive.

And so you may also extinguish it.

Put it out.

Just like blowing out a candle.

It can just go away.

Because you are strong and resilient.

And while the times may be uncertain,

You are gifted the certainties before you.

You are alive.

You are safe right now.

You are part of something much bigger than you.

And you always have been.

You were born into a body that you had to learn how to use.

There was a time you needed assistance to just hold your head up.

For months of your life,

As your neck grew stronger,

There was someone to support you.

And for years you were nourished to be able to stay alive and make it to adulthood.

It may not have been easy.

And there may have been struggle and trauma.

But through it all,

You are still here.

In the situations of life,

10% of your life may depend on what happens to you.

But there is a remaining precious 90% that remains dependent on how you respond and what you do with life's circumstances.

That is the vital choice you have before you.

Even if your choice is but to wait and see.

You may surrender to the patience that courses through your bloodstream.

To let go and realize that you are okay.

And when you hesitate,

Your hesitation may come from the confident approach and the patience as you wait and see.

Your hesitation does not come from fear.

Because all fears may simply fly away with worries on that broken circle that became a straight line.

And you may feel broken at times.

And that is okay too.

For the light may come through and heal you.

For you may realize your own resilience.

That so long as you have breath,

You have the ability to mend.

Just like wounds as a child,

Scraped knees from falls did not stop you from finding your balance and walking again.

You continued forward and the wounds healed with time.

Perhaps scars appeared and they served as markers for your courage and all that you survived.

Times may be uncertain,

But those scars are reminders of what you may endure and overcome.

And as you feel so relaxed right now,

You may even pat yourself on the back or feel yourself embraced in a hug.

You did it.

So far you have done it all to get to this place of comfort in your bed.

You may visualize a seed.

Any seed you desire,

Visualizing as it begins to break open,

As the sprout forms and reaches for the sun and finds nourishment.

It does not hesitate to reach for what it needs to thrive and to grow and through the entire life of that plant.

It will dig its roots deeper to find water to stay hydrated.

It will change its form to bend towards sunlight and to grow higher and higher up.

And you too have this innate need to do the same,

To find the light,

To find nourishment.

Perhaps in things you enjoy doing.

Perhaps in connecting with people that fill you up with feelings of love and trust.

With people you are able to be vulnerable around,

To be your real self at any moment,

Through any experience,

Able to feel loved and worthy no matter what.

To know that you are part of something bigger,

Something known as the human experience.

And you are not alone.

You are part of something grand and you deserve to feel safe and to feel unified with the resilience of the human spirit.

Research shows we are more resilient than even we may realize.

Money may allow you to sometimes create a scenario that seems crippling.

Yet when this event occurs,

You become steadfast and rise above and deal with the new normal.

And that is what you are doing right now.

Dealing with the new normal.

Adapting,

Thriving like you have adapted so many times before.

Like a newly hatched sea turtle crawls across the sandy shoreline before entering the water and adapting to a new life at sea.

You were born to adapt.

You were born to be resilient.

You were born to grow and to expand beyond your own expectations and understanding.

And for now,

You may smile.

You may relax.

You may let go.

You may be.

Because you are okay right now.

And you need not worry about the future.

You only need to breathe in and out.

Because one conscious breath is a meditation.

This is your meditation.

The gift of breath.

Inhaling and exhaling.

You are safe and in the now,

You may find in this moment,

Nothing is wrong.

Perhaps your mind is going to places where this may seem the case.

But note what is really happening in your room right now.

You are safe.

You need not be afraid.

You are okay.

And it's just time to wait and see.

And perhaps it was but an illusion.

That things would always be the same.

A construct that your mind created so you could focus and try to predict what may come next.

But you need not know.

You may just wait and see.

Let go of guesswork.

Let go of stressing about outcomes.

Let go of worry.

Let go of thinking the worst.

Let go of trying to predict or project.

Let go of the impulses to prove yourself right when it comes to anything that doesn't feel good.

Again,

You deserve to feel good.

And you have the power to control your mind and allow yourself to feel good.

Right now and later on.

And each day that you rise and begin a new day.

Remember that you are in control of what you can control.

You are empowered to take over your thoughts.

You are free to believe that all will be okay.

Even as you do not know.

You do not have to know.

All you need to do is clear your mind.

And you may find in the morning when you wake up,

You feel just fine before the cascading worries begin to enter your mind.

And when you wake up,

You may make a conscious choice to extend this feeling of being fine.

Envision an oversized whiteboard where all your thoughts that linger are scrawled out in black ink.

Words that convey what has haunted you.

And you pick up an eraser and you feel the fuzzy brick in your hand.

And you begin to wipe the board clean.

To clear away all those thoughts and uncertainties.

Because you made the best choice you can.

To be okay with where you are at.

And to just wait and see.

And with that I am going to count you down right now.

As you surrender to your bed and to the peaceful dreamland that awaits you.

Ten.

Nine.

Eight.

Seven.

Six.

Five.

Four.

Three.

Two.

One.

Finding peace.

Finding ease.

Finding peace.

Finding ease.

Finding surrender.

And letting it all go.

It's time to dream away.

Thank you šŸ™šŸ¼ so much Michelle for this perfect meditation. I'm pretty sure I would not have fallen asleep without it given the busyn ess of my mind beforehand. I drifted off to sleep somewhere in the middle of the meditation, slept peacefully and woke to find two messages on my phone which may have solved the dilemma I was stressed about. Such timely advice "wait and see". Thank you again!
