My gosh,

We're at day seven we made it Okay,

So I had a heck of a time trying to decide what meditation to share with you for this last day of our journey Lots of great ones out there,

But I just decided to get a little bit silly so Today we're going to have a little fun with our meditation as I take you on a trip to the playground of your childhood So go ahead and get in a comfortable position and we'll get going here and when you're comfortable allow your eyes to gently close and Start by becoming aware of the room you're in the temperature and the sounds and anything else that you might notice and now begin to connect to your breath and Today,

I want you to count your breath to become really really focused on it.

So breathing in in and out to a count of one in and out to and so on and Do this until you get to a count of ten and if your mind begins to wander before that that's okay Just begin again,

And I'm going to leave you to do this in silence Okay now let go of that focus on your breath for a bit as you turn your Awareness to your physical presence and feel your body against the surface that you're on If your feet are on the ground Feel that connection to the earth Spend a few moments in silence sending your breath to any areas that need your attention using the in breath to gather your energy and the out breath to soften and And release any tension you might be holding on to.

All right,

So let's bring our awareness Back to our breath for just a moment connecting with it one more time before we move on.

So just Follow it for a couple cycles in and out In and out as an adult.

We don't often have the opportunity to play Sometimes we let our preconceived notions get in the way or we just don't take the time But having fun is a great antidote to the stresses of the day.

So Today we're going to visit that playground from your childhood There are lessons to be learned here and maybe some of those lessons We knew but we just sort of forgot along the way to adulthood So now you find yourself at that playground that was closest to your home when you were a child All the equipment you remember is still there There's a swing set with swings for the little ones and some for the bigger kids And a slide that felt so much taller when you were little and those monkey bars They still seem to fit you if you raise your knees up high enough.

There's a tunnel to crawl through There's a seesaw to play on with a friend.

And of course,

You can't forget about the merry-go-round So,

What do you choose?

The good news is you don't have to choose because just like when you were a child You aren't concerned about How much time you have you just want to try them all so spend as much time as you like here trying each of the pieces of equipment and And we'll start with the swing and you get in the swing you sit down in it You feel yourself getting higher and higher and you feel like you're flying It's liberating and you feel that same freedom you felt as a child you realize how powerful you are to set your own speed in your own course and it reminds you of the Challenges that you've overcome and the strength that you possess and now you move on to the slide You stand in line waiting for your turn getting a little nervous about the trip down You climb the ladder and as you start off you're at the very top and you slide down quickly Landing with a big thump on the seat of your pants You get up and brush yourself off and you do it again and much like those hard landings in life You're resilient and you climb right back up again Time to check out the monkey bars you jump up and you manage to grab the bar and you hang on tight and swing to the next one and Soon you find your rhythm and while it might get hard at times You know,

You can make it to the end just by keeping your goal in sight Just by staying focused as you get there.

You're proud of yourself by sticking with it Even when you struggled and now the tunnel is calling you and as you enter Not knowing where it's going to lead you feel a little bit of apprehension About going into the dark and then you realize that sometimes you just have to slither your way through a dark tight space to reach the other side and What awaits you is never as scary as you might have thought You found the courage to keep moving towards the light and the view you enjoy at the end is Breathtaking and now as you climb out of that tunnel you find a friend waiting for you on their half of the seesaw The seesaw is to be enjoyed together It doesn't work with just one and you know,

You could always count on each other just as you count on your friends To help you with life's ups and downs Finally you find the merry-go-round You get on and hang on tight as it gets pushed faster and faster Anticipating what's to come your heart is racing as you gather speed and it's exhilarating you're dizzy with freedom and you're laughing with joy and while some Might find it boring and predictable you find it exciting and unpredictable and when you're on that merry-go-round That's the only thing that matters.

So just hold on tight and Enjoy the ride and now your time here is coming to an end you've enjoyed your time at the playground of life and You know that you can always take it with you everywhere you go.

And the next time you're driving by a real playground Stop and take some time to just be a kid again.

And for now our Meditation time together has come to an end Begin the process of coming back into your outer world When you're ready open your eyes.

I want to thank you for joining me on this seven-day journey I hope you continue your meditation practice and make it a part of your everyday routine and I'll see you soon
