This is Day 28 of the 28-Day ONE MINUTE Mindfulness Challenge. Congratulations for making it to the 28th day of the challenge! Today we will practice curiosity and check in with how our body, mind and heart are doing--asking and listening for the response. These are short, quick mindfulness exercises for teachers, parents and children to get a taste of what it feels like to commit to the self-care practice of mindfulness every day for 28 days.

Welcome to Day 28 in your final day of your challenge.

Awesome job sticking with it.

We will wrap things up with curiosity.

One of the most important things in mindfulness is to stay curious.

So we'll do question breath today.

Sit nice and tall.

Close your eyes or bring your gaze down.

Take a moment just to feel your body sitting here.

And now ask your body,

How are you doing today,

Body?

And let it answer.

Doesn't have to be good or bad.

Just let your body answer.

Now ask your heart,

Heart,

How are you doing today?

Let it answer.

Move to your mind.

Ask your mind,

Your thoughts,

How are you doing today?

Doesn't have to be good thoughts,

If the bad thoughts are not good.

Doesn't have to be good thoughts,

If the bad thoughts are there.

That's OK too.

You're just asking and listening for the answer.

Mindfulness is always about being gentle and being kind with yourself.

And the very best you can,

Taking those few moments to take care of yourself,

To listen to your body,

Your breath,

Your mind,

And your heart.

I hope you found these practices helpful and you are able to use them in your life any time you need.

Thanks so much.
