Hello.

Please make yourself comfortable as you gently and slowly inhale through your nose and exhale through your mouth.

Inhale deeply and slowly exhale through your mouth.

Focusing now on your breath.

Allow yourself to release any thoughts that may be consuming your mind,

Any worries,

Any anxieties.

Simply let them fall by the wayside for now as you observe your breath and feel it moving in and out of your being.

After many days of traveling,

Buddha and his disciples arrived in a small village and began sharing their knowledge.

An angry man approached the Buddha shouting,

You have no right teaching others.

You are just as foolish as everyone else.

You are nothing but a fake.

Buddha was not upset by these insults.

He smiled and continued his teachings.

The man insulted him again and again.

But the only reaction he could get back from the Buddha was a smile and silence.

Finally,

The angered young man left cursing.

After the talk,

A disciple approached Buddha and asked,

Why didn't you reply to that rude man?

The Buddha explained,

If someone offers you a gift and you refuse to accept it,

To whom does the gift belong?

Of course,

The person who brought the gift replied the disciple.

That is correct and it is the same with anger.

If I do not get insulted,

The anger falls back on the person who brought it.

As a mirror reflects an object,

As a still lake reflects the sky,

Take care that what you speak or act is good for goodness will always cast back goodness.

And harm will always cast back harm.

As you are inevitably greeted with anger,

Hate,

Or negative emotions,

Remember to act as the mirror.

Maintain your personal power.

Do not bend to the crippling emotion of others.

Have you ever wondered how much of what weighs you down is not yours to carry?

Maybe right now you've allowed the fears,

The anger,

The confusion of others to weigh you down.

If so,

Do you want to let it go?

Do you want to let it go?

Do you want to let it go?

Do you want to let it go?

As the wide adage goes,

Holding on to anger is like grasping a hot coal with the intent of throwing it at someone else.

You are the one that gets burned.

Let us now inhale what is best for us.

Air.

Life.

As you inhale,

Give thanks for the very air you are breathing.

And as you exhale,

Give thanks to your body for the continuous support.

Inhale,

Thanking yourselves for all they do.

And exhale,

Giving thanks to yourself for showing up and sitting today.

Just breathe.

May you have a meaningful day.
