Welcome to this Yoga Nidra practice.

This is a time of rest and gentle connection with yourself and the life within you and all around you.

Letting the earth hold you and cradle you as you settle into a cozy cocoon of comfort,

Finding a comfortable position,

And remembering you're welcome to shift or move as your body needs.

All parts of you are welcome here.

All layers of you are allowed to be here.

Any burping,

Stomach gurgling,

Yawning,

Farting,

Wiggling,

Squiggling,

Or giggling,

They're all welcome here.

So let yourself find as comfortable as a position as you can to rest and to pause.

You can lay on your back or your side using props or blankets to get as cozy as can be,

Allowing this little pocket of rest to nourish you.

So do whatever feels natural to really let yourself arrive and settle here,

Feeling earth beneath you,

Letting earth hold you and cradle you,

Support you as you settle and land here and now.

Guide your awareness to your heart center and welcome your next inhale to breathe into your heart center and allowing your next exhale to settle your bones and muscles and organs even more down to the earth.

Feel each inhale expanding your body gently and each exhale releasing and exploring with a sense of awe and wonder and ease.

Letting the breath slow down with ease and supporting you,

Breath supporting you and all of your creations,

Allowing breath to link us all near and far,

Letting the heartbeat connect us all to collective healing.

Just to be here and now is more than enough.

Tune in to the deep wisdom of your tender heart,

A wild,

Authentic wisdom that is guiding you moment by moment in nourishing and nurturing new life and new creations.

Allow yourself to feel grounded in this wisdom,

Trusting the natural strength and softness within,

Welcoming in the support of our heart's authenticity,

Finding yourself centered in this space and this place.

And as we now move through each part of the body,

Allow yourself to feel deeply supported by the earth beneath you,

Noticing how gravity gently holds and carries each part of your body,

Welcoming in rest and ease,

Letting go of the weight and letting yourself feel held here,

Beginning at the crown of the head,

Allowing any tension in the forehead and the eyes and the jaw to soften and melt as if you're settling down,

Releasing and surrendering to the earth.

Feel the gentle pull of gravity through your neck and shoulders,

Allowing them to rest as the earth supports you completely.

Sensing the space across the chest,

Feeling it expand softly with each breath.

And as you continue breathing,

Allow the weight of the arms to feel fully supported by gravity,

Resting with ease and comfort,

Going all the way down to the palm of the left hand and the right hand.

Feeling a settling now in both of the thumbs,

Index fingers,

Middle fingers,

Ring fingers and little fingers,

The tips of the fingers.

Feeling held and bringing that soft awareness back up the fingers,

Up the arms and then down your back,

Noticing how each part of the spine gently rests and is supported by the earth beneath you,

Allowing any holding or gripping to soften.

As gravity holds you,

You are safe in this gentle embrace.

And turn your attention now to your womb,

Feeling a soft connection between womb and earth below.

Earth holds you effortlessly,

Supports body with a steadiness,

But grounded sense of security,

Letting the pelvis feel anchored yet free.

Fully embraced by earth's support and bringing awareness to your hips,

Noticing the gentle stability and ease with which they rest against the pull of gravity.

Feel this support continue down through your thighs,

Knees,

Calves,

And all the way down to the feet and toes,

Sensing sensation now in each of the 10 toes on the left and the right foot,

Feeling big toe,

Second toes,

Third toes,

Fourth toes,

And pinky toes on each foot and sensing the legs being cradled by the earth,

Torso being held,

Arms being carried,

And the whole head,

The inside of the skull and the outside of the skull,

And every bit of hair held from head to toe,

Front to back,

Left to right,

And all of the spaces between feeling how earth holds your body.

Sensing your whole body now and allowing body to be felt with ease and rest,

Feeling whole body as one,

Body held by earth,

Noticing how it feels to be carried by the earth,

And notice how the carrying changes when we go from vertical to horizontal,

A shift happens,

When we go from movement to stillness,

When we go from doing to being.

Notice how it is from being active on the outside world to resting on the inside world,

Simply witnessing how it feels to experience a moment of allowing the being of you to simply be,

To pause the doing,

And welcome the being,

Welcome the human being that you are,

And sensing how the body is breathed by the breath,

Almost as if the breath and the body were very old friends.

Embrace how you are the artist,

And you are the artwork of your life.

Now listen to the mind's ear,

These little magic eardrums,

Hearing songs and sounds from the inside out,

And as you listen closely,

See what you hear.

Welcome in the sound of your favorite song,

Or a comforting sound.

Hearing these sounds,

Or maybe even feeling the sounds,

Potentially even touching,

Tasting,

And seeing the sounds.

Whatever it is that you do here,

Let all layers of you experience the sound or song inside.

And as you listen close,

You hear a full spectrum of sound.

Listening even closer,

You may hear the sound of your heartbeat.

And as you tune in to the sound of the heartbeat,

The pulse of life,

Listen to the deep wisdom of your heart.

The intuitive you,

The creative you,

All parts of you are resting now and witnessing.

All parts of you are hearing the beat of you,

The heartbeat of life.

Rest in the knowledge that your body holds deep intuitive wisdom,

And it is guiding you,

Nourishing and nurturing life.

Trust in this creative wisdom that flows within you.

Feeling a sense of awe and wonder with this intuitive wisdom that you embody.

And gently begin to now notice the rhythm of the breath once again.

Bringing a sense of gentle awareness back into the body.

And notice how you feel.

Notice the life within and the life all around you,

Alive.

Allowing all of you to be exactly as you are.

You are a miracle.

You are welcome here.

And just being here and breathing here is more than enough.

And now you get to choose if you want to wake up or if you want to continue resting as this particular yoga nidra practice is coming to a close.

And if you want to move,

Gradually invite small movements back into your fingers and your toes.

Maybe licking the lips and welcoming life in and around you.

And if you choose to continue resting,

You are welcome to rest in the being that you are.

Know that this pocket of rest is available to you whenever you need.

It is within you.

The wisdom to rest and connect back to intuition.

This sense of connection and calm remains within you.

Supporting you step by step,

Breath by breath,

Heartbeat by heartbeat.

This practice of yoga nidra is now complete.

This was exactly what I needed to hear, and in such a lovely tone of voice, grounding and soothing. I prefer a little more silence, however still very much enjoyed this. It fully pulled me out of busy work mode into relaxed soft woman mode. 💓
