So,

Let's see.

Okay,

So hi there and I hope that this finds you in good health and high spirits.

So as we continue our yoga journey together,

I wanted to introduce a powerful practice that can enhance your overall well-being and also increase your self-awareness.

Our practice is not just about physical postures but an opportunity for self-reflection and healing.

So if it feels good for you,

This is a meditation to prompt you to create a space for writing a letter to your younger self.

In our practice of yoga,

We often explore the themes of self-compassion,

Forgiveness,

And gratitude.

Today,

I encourage you to delve into a practice of deep introspection by writing or visualizing writing a letter to your younger self.

This exercise can be incredibly healing and transformative.

The first step will be to create a calm space.

Finding a quiet,

Comfortable place you can sit without distractions.

A place where you can light a candle or maybe play soothing music that helps you to relax.

Next from here,

We're going to imagine your younger self.

If it feels good for you,

You can close your eyes here and visualize yourself as a younger age.

Maybe here you're facing a particular challenge or moment of vulnerability.

Picture the surroundings,

Your emotions,

And the people involved.

From here,

We can start to close the eyes.

Maybe start to connect a bit more to the breath.

Taking notice of any tension that we might be holding in the shoulders.

We take a deep breath in,

Bringing the shoulders up to the ears.

Maybe you squeeze,

Squeeze,

Squeeze.

On the exhale,

Letting it all go.

Do that a couple more times.

If that feels good for you,

Your own time and pace.

Deep breath in,

Bring the shoulders up towards the ears and squeeze,

Squeeze,

Squeeze.

And exhale out,

Letting it go.

Maybe here you feel ready to break.

Maybe you'd like a couple more moments to connect.

So I invite you here to take one more deep breath in,

Bringing the shoulders up towards the ears.

And exhale.

From here,

Maybe begin your letter to your younger self with a warm and compassionate greeting.

A space to acknowledge your younger self's feelings and struggles with kindness.

A space to express understanding,

To reflect on the challenges that your younger self has faced.

A space to offer understanding and reassurance.

What is it that you wish your younger self had known or felt at that time?

It is a space where you can share wisdom.

A space where you can share the strength that you have gained through your life experiences.

And also a space to offer advice or comforting words that you believe would have been helpful back then.

This is your space to reclaim back the nourishment,

The caring,

The love that you needed.

Express gratitude for the lessons learned and acknowledge the resilience that has helped you to overcome the challenges in your life.

And at this moment,

Maybe you find yourself ready to close out your letter.

And as you're closing out the letter,

Feel free to close out the letter with love and acceptance.

This might be a space to offer forgiveness,

Whether it's to yourself or to the others who are involved in the situation.

Remember,

This letter is only for your eyes and you can choose to keep it or dispose of it as you see fit.

The act of writing can be profoundly therapeutic,

Allowing you to release emotions and gain insights into your own growth.

Wishing you a peaceful and introspective writing experience.

As always,

I'm here to support you on your yoga and self-discovery journey.
