Welcome,

Today's practice is about boundaries,

About power,

About reclaiming the sacred right to say no with your voice,

Your body and your energy.

So often we've been taught that no is rejection or confrontation or unkindness.

But today,

We remember that no is also love.

No is clarity.

No is truth.

So let's begin by grounding into the body.

Find a comfortable posture,

Sitting upright or lying down.

Allow your spine to be long.

Let your belly soften.

Let your jaw unclench.

And gently allow your eyes to close or your gaze to soften.

Begin to tune in to your breath.

Feel the inhale rising through your nose and the exhale falling out through your mouth.

And let's do a few of these together.

Inhale slow and full.

Exhale soft and releasing.

And let your body land fully.

Let yourself arrive.

And now bring your attention down to your feet.

Feel the contact with the ground.

Sense the support beneath you.

From your feet,

Trace awareness up your legs,

Through your pelvis,

Your belly,

Your chest,

All the way up through your shoulders,

Throat,

And face.

You are here.

Now begin to notice,

Gently and honestly,

Where in your life have you been saying yes when your body meant no?

Where have you overridden your gut?

Where have you softened your truth to avoid discomfort?

There's no need to judge,

Only to notice.

Now bring one hand to your belly and one hand to your heart.

Feel your breath move between these two centers.

This is the core of your knowing.

This is where your yes and your no live.

So let's breathe with them now.

Inhale through the nose,

Expanding the belly.

Exhale through the mouth,

Dropping deeper into yourself.

Again,

Inhale,

Feeling your own space.

Exhale,

Claim it.

And now I invite you to explore the felt sense of no.

What does no feel like in your body?

Don't try to think about it,

Just feel into it.

When you say no,

Or even imagine it,

What sensations arise?

Do you feel it in your chest?

In your gut?

In your jaw,

Hands,

Spine?

What happens to your posture?

Do you shrink?

Do you brace?

Or do you feel a quiet strength and a sense of rooting?

Let your breath meet whatever arises.

There's wisdom here.

There's power here.

And now imagine a moment from your life,

Recent or distant,

When you wanted to say no but you didn't.

Gently let the memory surface.

See it with judgments.

Just observe where were you?

What was happening?

What did your body feel?

And now give yourself a do-over.

Feel that very same moment,

But this time,

Imagine standing in your truth.

Feel your feet on the ground.

Your breath steady.

Your heart clear.

And now in your mind,

Or out loud,

Say no.

No,

Thank you.

That doesn't work for me.

I choose something else.

And feel how your body responds when you speak your no with presence and clarity.

You're not shutting anyone out.

You're simply honoring what's true for you.

Let's practice that now in the body,

Somatically.

Inhale.

Exhale.

Imagine drawing in your personal power.

Exhale and say the word no aloud.

Let it come from your belly,

From your bones.

Again,

Inhale.

Exhale,

No.

One more time with even more embodiment.

Inhale.

And exhale.

And now rest.

Notice what's shifted.

Notice what's awakened.

Boundaries are not walls.

They are clarity.

They are love with direction.

And your no creates space for your deeper yes.

So let's breathe into that.

Inhale and ask,

What becomes possible when I trust my no?

Exhale and let the answer arrive.

Now gently place both hands over your heart.

Feel the rhythm of your breath.

Feel the quiet strength within you.

And repeat inwardly or aloud.

My no is sacred.

My body knows.

I do not need to earn the right to say no.

I trust my truth.

Let these words settle into your being.

Let's take one final breath together.

Inhale,

Grounding fully in your power.

Hold for a moment.

And exhale with sound,

Maybe a no,

Maybe a sigh,

Maybe a breath of clarity.

Gently begin to move again.

Wiggling the fingers and toes maybe.

Rolling the shoulders or neck.

And when you do feel ready,

Opening your eyes.

You are here.

You are rooted.

Clear.

And free to say what is true without apology.

Thank you.
