Hello beautiful soul and welcome to your guided meditation.

Today we will be focusing on releasing stress and anxiety and coming back down into a state of equanimity.

I invite you to find a peaceful space where you can be alone for a little while.

Sit comfortably either in a chair or flat on the ground or if it feels best perhaps lying down.

Closing your eyes and taking a big deep breath in through the nose holding it a moment and exhaling audibly out the mouth Let's try that again.

Inhale deeply in through the nose holding for a moment and exhale out the mouth.

Let it go.

Beautiful job.

One more time.

Inhale deeply in through the nose taking anything no longer serving you bottling it up and exhaling it out the mouth Beautiful.

Let's begin this journey inward.

I invite you to close the mouth and start breathing in through the nose and out the nose.

Taking a moment to simply arrive here and now in this present moment.

This is your opportunity to let go of the rush of the day,

The to-do list,

The noise of life.

Imagine with each exhale you releasing everything that no longer serves you.

Say to yourself silently,

I am here.

I am safe.

I am here.

I am safe.

I am enough.

Feel the weight of your body supported by the earth beneath you.

Trust that in this moment there is nothing you need to do,

Nowhere you need to be,

Just this.

As you feel yourself sinking deeper and deeper into a state of relaxation,

I invite you to gently bring your attention to the top of your head.

Imagine a warm beautiful golden light resting there.

This light gently softens any tension and it slowly starts to float through your body.

As this light flows down through your forehead,

It releases the space between your eyebrows.

Feel it move into your jaw.

If you notice any tightness there,

I invite you to gently release and soften.

This light begins to cascade down your neck and your shoulders.

In its wake it is melting any heaviness or stress that you may be carrying.

With each breath let this golden light travel farther down your chest,

Your arms,

Into your core,

Your hips and legs,

Finally reaching its way all the way down to the soles of your feet.

Imagine every part of you becoming lighter with its touch,

More at ease,

Feeling cleansed and refreshed.

I now invite you to bring all of your attention to your breath,

The gentle rise and fall of your chest.

Notice how it naturally flows,

No need to change it.

Just simply observe.

Constant,

Steady,

Beautiful,

Life-giving breath.

As you inhale deeply through the nose,

I invite you to say to yourself,

I am breathing in calm.

As you exhale,

I invite you to silently say,

I am breathing out stress.

I am breathing in calm.

I am breathing out stress.

Feel each breath like a wave of an ocean.

It gently washes over you,

Cleansing away tension and bringing peace with each new tide.

Imagine that each wave cleanses you of anything no longer serving you,

Reminding yourself that it is okay to surrender and release,

To let go that which no longer serves you.

That it is your right to feel a sense of calm,

Peace and tranquility throughout your day.

To trust and believe in yourself that whatever comes your way,

You have the skills and tools to overcome it.

In your entire life,

You have experienced many highs and lows,

And you've been able to achieve and succeed in those trials and tribulations.

So just remember with each exhalation,

You release any anxiety about the future,

Any worry,

Any doubt,

And trust that in this moment,

You are doing exactly what you need to be doing.

You are taking care of this beautiful mind and this beautiful body that you call home.

I invite you to repeat these affirmations after me.

I release what I cannot control.

I release what I cannot control.

I release what I cannot control.

Your next affirmation.

.

.

I am grounded in peace.

I am grounded in peace.

Reminding yourself that peace is your baseline.

It is your sense of coming home.

And the more and more that we remind ourselves that,

It becomes easier for us to get back to that state of equanimity.

Your final affirmation.

.

.

I trust and believe in myself.

I trust and believe in myself.

Such a powerful affirmation that reminds us that the most important relationship in our lives,

The one that we will have for our entire lives,

Is the relationship with self.

We trust and believe in ourselves that gives ourselves the permission to get into peaceful states,

To release and to surrender when it is wise for us to instead focus on restoration and recovery.

So taking these opportunities to come back home,

Into our bodies,

Into this present moment,

Helps us recalibrate that relationship and listen to the internal world within.

As you feel these affirmations and this practice rippling through your body,

I invite you to notice if you feel a shift of energy.

A sense of peace and relaxation washing over you.

Remembering that this practice is always here for you at any time that you need it.

And the more that we come back home,

The more that we come back to these practices,

The easier that they become.

So that our default,

Our baseline,

Can be that sense of peace,

Relaxation,

And tranquility.

I invite you to slowly start wiggling your fingers,

Wiggling your toes,

And perhaps finding a gentle smile on your lips as you feel how good it feels just to take a moment for self.

To take a moment to remind yourself that you are in control.

And when you're ready,

I invite you to slowly open your eyes,

Perhaps noticing something different about the room around you.

A new color,

A new texture.

Reminding yourself that the framework and the lens and the questions that we ask ourselves changes everything on how we perceive the world.

Thank you for joining me for today's practice.

I hope it has served you,

And I hope you have a beautiful rest of your day.
