Focus on the seven main energy centers or chakras.
Begin by finding a comfortable position.
Allow yourself to do any movements to find stillness and comfort.
Take a moment to fully arrive into this time and space.
As you're ready,
Notice a breath.
Notice a breath moving through the nostrils.
Notice a breath at the throat.
Notice a breath at the chest.
Notice a breath at the navel.
Notice a breath deep down at the belly.
Begin to deepen and lengthen the breath.
Notice every inhale and every exhale.
Feel two currents of breath.
The upward expansive energy of the inhalation.
Feel the downward grounding energy of the exhalation.
Bring your awareness into the base of the spine.
The seat of the first chakra.
Root support.
Mula dara chakra.
Feel that sense of grounding through the sitting bones,
Through the legs,
Ankles and feet.
And all the way down into the center of the earth.
Feel or visualize a lotus flower of four petals right at the base of the spine.
A wheel of red light spinning downwards,
Grounding you,
Connecting you with the earth element.
That sense of support,
Stability,
Abundance.
Feel or visualize the red color,
The energy of the earth right at the base of the spine.
Bring your awareness into the second chakra.
Right at the pelvis,
Lower abdomen.
Feel or visualize a lotus flower of six petals.
A wheel of light.
Orange light.
Spinning from the front to the back of the body.
The seat of the water element.
The seat of expression,
Movement.
Feel or visualize this wheel of orange light spinning and vibrating at the pelvis.
Bring your awareness up into the navel.
The seat of the third chakra.
The solar plexus,
Manipura.
Feel or visualize a lotus flower of ten petals.
A wheel of light.
Yellow light spinning from the front to the back of the body.
Igniting the fire element.
The seat of transformation,
Clarity,
Strength.
Feel every breath opening and releasing.
Bring your awareness up into the base of the breastbone.
The seat of the fourth chakra.
Anahata chakra.
The heart.
Feel or visualize a lotus flower of twelve petals.
Pink and green.
A wheel of light spinning from the front to the back of the body.
Radiating light.
Bringing the energy of the air element.
The feeling of expansion.
Openness.
Feel the energy of the heart chakra expanding out through the arms,
Hands and fingers.
Feel the vibration at the palms of the hands.
The inhale at the heart.
Breathing.
Bring the awareness into the throat center.
The seat of the fifth chakra.
Vishuddhi.
The throat chakra.
Feel or visualize a lotus flower of sixteen petals.
A blue color.
A wheel of light.
Spinning from the front to the back of the body.
Feeling light.
Bringing the subtle energy of the heater.
The seat of creativity and communication.
Bring your awareness into the space between the eyebrows.
The seat of the sixth chakra.
Agnya chakra.
The third eye.
A lotus flower of two petals.
A wheel of purple light spinning from the front to the back of the body.
Bring the awareness into the crown of the head.
The seat of the seventh chakra.
Sahaswara.
A lotus flower of a thousand petals.
A wheel of light,
White light,
Spinning from the top of the head all the way up into the universe.
Connecting you with everything.
Feel yourself sitting in this cocoon of light created by the expansive energy of each chakra.
Come back to the breath again.
Feel the breath moving through the center of the body.
Alone the spine and the brain.
Cleansing all of the chakras.
Opening all of these energy centers and awakening their highest potential of being.
Stability.
Abundance.
Expression.
Clarity and strength.
Openness.
Creativity.
Wisdom.
In connection to all.
Bring your awareness back into the very top of the head.
And feel or visualize a shower of ice cold water coming straight out of the mountain.
Down through the top of the head.
Cleansing all of the chakras.
Grounding.
Releasing.
Bring your awareness back into the base of the spine.
And feel yourself grounding again through the sitting bones,
Through the legs,
Through the feet.
And all the way down into the center of the earth.
Feel the breath at the base of the breastbone.
Feel the expansion and contraction.
Notice the effects of the practice.
In the body,
Mind and spirit.
As you're ready,
Begin to slowly come back.
Gently moving fingers and toes.
And opening the eyes.
And all the way down to the top of the head.
And all the way down to the top of the head.
