Resting back now into a comfortable position with your eyes softly open or gently closed,

Begin welcoming the environment and sounds around you,

Colors and light,

Tastes and smells that may be lingering in the mouth or nostrils,

The touch of air on the skin and sensations of warmth or coolness,

Letting go into sensations where the body's touching the surfaces that are providing support,

And welcome in an inner resource within you,

An inner oasis within where you can rest into feelings of ease and well-being,

Settling into an inner firm ground that's comforting,

Where you can feel secure and safe with yourself,

Nourishing these inner resources that you can call upon at any time during this practice or during your daily life,

Continuing to nourish these inner resources,

These feelings of ease and well-being and peace,

Free attention,

And welcoming sensations in the hinges of the jaw and mouth,

Lips,

Gums and teeth,

Sensations of the ears,

Skin of the face,

Both eyes as sensation,

Skin of the forehead smooth and cool,

Scalp,

Back of the neck,

And natural sensations of heaviness and weight as the arms and shoulders let go into their resting positions,

Sensations throughout the torso and pelvis,

Hips,

Legs and feet,

The body breathing itself and the belly gently expanding and releasing with each breath,

With each exhalation,

Warm,

Velvety sensations of ease and well-being spreading throughout the body,

And ease into simply being and being aware,

Letting go of thoughts and thinking,

Simply being and being aware,

Aware of the body as dynamic sensation,

Pulsing,

Throbbing or shimmering,

And noting the body as dynamic sensation,

Feeling yourself as the spacious awareness in which the body is shimmering and throbbing or pulsing,

Feeling yourself both as the spacious awareness and this body that's humming,

Pulsing,

Radiating dynamically in your spacious awareness,

Setting thoughts and thinking free to be here just as they are without getting involved,

Setting attention to freely roam about body humming or pulsing and the field of unchanging awareness in which all these changing movements of body,

Senses,

Thoughts are unfolding and sensing into this dynamic life force that's an enlivening and rejuvenating every cell,

Tissue and organ throughout the entire body,

The life force that's enlivening and living every atom,

Every molecule,

Every cell,

Thoughts and thinking free to be here as you ease ever more deeply into simply being and not having to think,

Not having to know,

More and more absorbed in and as this dynamic life force that's enlivening and rejuvenating every cell throughout the body,

Lingering here as long as it feels right and when it does feel right to come back to your wide awake state of mind and body,

Let the eyes gently open and close several times while nourishing these feelings of well-being,

Ease and security,

Being deeply connected to yourself and grounded,

The feeling of being and being at ease,

Welcoming the felt sense of unchanging well-being that's always accessible here within the body,

Within you,

Wherever you are,

Whoever you're with,

Whatever you're doing,

Now in this moment and for the rest of your life.
