Namaste everyone.
I'm standing on the beach.
My feet are in the water and I'm listening to the waves roll in.
And I just want you to begin to close your eyes and relax.
You can either be sitting with this long straight spine or resting comfortably in Shavasana.
Begin to take long deep breath in and exhale long deep breath out.
Breathing in,
Filling up those lungs and exhaling.
Get all of the stale air out of your lungs.
Use the gentle sound of the ocean to put your mind and body at ease.
If any thoughts drift in,
Just gently release them,
Watch them go by and bring your attention back to your breath.
Now would be a great time to set an intention for your practice.
Whether you're using this to doze off to sleep or you're using this as a gentle mindfulness practice.
Hold your intention over your heart center and then slowly release it.
Let the universe take hold and trust that it is done.
As we meditate we learn to be more like the ocean.
Accepting our ebb and flow.
Understanding our waves are slow and small or large and disruptive.
Yet we keep in the perspective reminding us that it's all beautiful and it's all normal.
Anything that you may be going through right now,
Anything that's on your mind,
It's just a wave.
It will pass.
The constant is the stillness in your heart and in your soul.
So now we sit from that center of awareness.
We sit in the seat of the soul and remind ourselves to remain present yet detached.
You're observing the things that are happening to yourself and that's it.
You are the observer.
Feel free to remain here.
I leave you with light and love.
Namaste.
