This is a meditation that is a continuation of the Talk called “Letting Go Of The Past Self.” The meditation highlights affirmations, mantras, breathwork, and visualization to help soften the past self by letting go of attaching people to our memories. Reminding ourselves that we can change the narrative of how we view the memories of our past self. Finally, always focus on the journey now and what you have accomplished so far and who you want to become.

Hey loves,

Welcome to Safe Circle Meditation.

And thank you for making time to reconnect here and most importantly,

Think yourself.

Go ahead and take a comfortable position if you haven't already.

This meditation is an extension of a previous talk called letting go of the past self.

We all have played a role one way or another,

Whether it was a role created for protection,

To fit in,

Or even a role powered by our past.

If we didn't get the love we craved for as a child,

We will continue walking through life looking for that validation.

Ultimately unaware,

We created a persona that today is unrecognizable.

All for the reason that we felt unloved.

I'm here to tell you,

You are loved.

You are worthy of love.

You are worthy of everything you desire.

You are enough.

Your self worth does not come from what others think of you.

Your self worth is not defined by what other people think of you.

How others perceive you is a reflection of what is going on within themselves.

How other people perceive you is irrelevant.

How others perceive you does not matter.

You are worthy.

You are enough.

Let's come to the breath and go ahead and inhale slowly,

I am enough.

And exhale slowly thoughts or beliefs holding you back from loving yourself.

And go ahead and do this for another three times,

Inhaling and exhaling love,

Compassion and understanding for your past self.

Giving yourself all of what you never received.

Really,

Focus on slowing down your breath as you feel the expansion and deflation of the belly.

Then,

Just let your breath come to its natural rhythm as you relax more into this moment.

If your mind wanders,

Just come back to your breath with the affirmation,

I am worthy of love.

As we can make stories out of simple things,

We see through the eyes of pain,

Sadness and trauma which can affect the representation of reality.

Painting stories of our reality may never go away but we can catch it faster and faster by practicing the awareness of it.

With that awareness of watching emotions,

Thoughts and feelings,

Be aware of the fact that we don't have to obey them nor are we defined by them or who we once were or what we have done.

We all make mistakes,

Big or small,

Give yourself permission to forgive yourself and let any triggers of the past self,

Power,

Affirmations that remind you of where you are now.

Now,

Come back to your breath,

Slowly inhaling forgiveness for yourself and slowly exhaling any thoughts or worries you have been holding on this far.

And go ahead and do this for another three times,

Inhaling and exhaling,

Reminding yourself that past memories can paint stories in the present.

And if these stories take a hold of you,

Notice it,

Forgive yourself and reframe it to an affirmation that empowers you such as,

It's okay or any affirmation you connect to today.

Notice,

Slowing the breath slows down your system.

Then,

Just let your breath come to its natural rhythm and let your body grow heavier.

If your mind wanders,

Just gently bring yourself back to your breath with the affirmation,

I forgive myself.

Now,

I want you to visualize who you want to become.

Imagine yourself in a peaceful place,

It could be a beautiful garden,

A place you love or an imaginary place.

Feel the breeze,

The freshness in the air,

The beautiful sounds in the background,

Maybe ocean waves or birds singing,

Whatever soothes and calms your soul.

Feel that peace you hold inside,

It feels genuine and true.

There is no need to prove it because it resonates through you.

Imagine all the new people you have and get met,

But you will meet along your journey.

They will share your beliefs,

They will love you and you will inspire each other.

Feel the excitement of what is to come.

Now imagine yourself in this peaceful place,

Expressing yourself through art as therapy.

You are becoming lighter and lighter as you put your heart in this creative project.

Reminding yourself that expression is therapy not perfection and any issues that ever arise you can handle them in this way.

You are trusting yourself more and more every day and if you need help remember it's okay to ask or seek out help too.

Now realize that the future self you imagine isn't far from who you are today.

You have pride for the work you have been doing for yourself and taking this time for yourself today.

It will all add up to an inner peace inside of you.

If it isn't today,

Every day you are getting closer and closer to that inner peace.

Now come back to your breath and slowly inhale peace,

Love and calm and slowly exhale any limiting beliefs of the past self.

Go ahead and do this for another 3 times,

Inhaling and exhaling.

Reminding yourself that you can change the narrative of your past self.

You have 100% control over the past self.

Hold hands with your past self.

Remind yourself that you also have 100% control over your future self every day.

You can become all you desire and more.

No one is limiting you.

You hold the keys to the doors you wish to open.

Always remembering that you are right where you are supposed to be.

Then just let your breath come to its natural rhythm and feel the calmness of the body.

If your mind wanders,

Just compassionately come back to your breath with the affirmation I AM PRESENT.

Now,

Bring your awareness back to the present.

Move your toes,

Your fingers,

Notice the sounds.

And whenever feels comfortable,

Open your eyes.

Now take this beautiful energy throughout your day.

And thank you for making time to reconnect here.

And most importantly,

Thank yourself.
