The focus is not on the extent of the stretch, but rather on maintaining awareness of the body during the process, understanding and accepting the limitations of the body. When practicing mindful stretching, it is important to treat yourself gently. Although the movements in this practice are simple and gentle, if you have any injuries in your lower back or any part of your body, please consult your doctor or physical therapist beforehand.
