Hi and welcome to Guided by Sarah.
This practice is your soft space to land when life feels a little too much.
It's here to help you calm your nervous system,
Reconnect with your inner strength and come back to feeling a deep,
Grounded peace.
Right now,
There's nothing to do,
Just being here.
Just being with yourself.
So,
Let's start by finding a quiet place to settle in.
Make yourself as comfortable as you possibly can and let your body soften.
Let yourself be held.
Take a deep breath in and slowly let that go.
And one more time,
In through your nose and out through your mouth.
And if it feels safe for you,
Allow your eyes to gently close down now.
And know that there's nowhere else you need to be right now,
Nothing else to do,
This moment is just for you.
And with each breath,
You return to yourself a little more.
With every exhale,
You release what you no longer need.
And now,
I invite you to listen.
Or,
If you want,
Repeat these words quietly to yourself or in your mind.
I am safe.
I am held.
I'm at home in my body.
I allow myself to let go.
I allow myself to feel.
I allow myself to soften.
I allow myself to rest.
I can hold myself with kindness.
I trust.
I am here.
I am with myself.
I allow myself to receive.
I breathe deeply.
I soften.
I am safe in this moment.
I am ready to meet myself with love and compassion.
I am enough.
I am calm.
I am whole.
I am free.
Let the phrases that resonate most stay with you.
Repeat them whenever you feel like it's needed.
Let them land gently,
Like waves washing over your nervous system.
Right now,
You don't have to fix anything.
You don't have to figure anything out.
Just be here and let yourself be supported by the rhythm of your breath.
And if your mind wanders,
That's okay.
You can always return with your next breath.
And now,
One final time,
Breathe in deeply.
And exhale fully.
Feel the quiet strength within you.
Feel how the stillness supports you.
And know that you can take this energy that you're feeling right now with you into the rest of your day,
Your night,
And your life.
And when you're ready,
Gently begin to move your fingers,
Your toes,
Slowly coming back into the room,
Into the present moment.
And know that this peaceful place lives within you.
Always.
Until next time,
Sarah.
