Affirmations have been scientifically proven to improve well-being by helping to rewire the brain toward positive perspectives. When we reframe experiences as part of being human, we can shift away from the stuckness of our old beliefs and conditioned ways of seeing ourselves and the world. Using loving-kindness (Metta) meditation as a sensory experience opens our hearts to expansive possibilities of living with more ease, self-kindness, and gratitude for the support available to us Music by Téa Renee Meditation by Nicolle LaFleur

Hello,

My friend.

This is your time to ground back into your body and your heart,

Breathing deeply into this life just as it is right here,

Right now.

Affirmations have been proven to improve well-being by reframing our mental and emotional states.

Affirmations help to rewire the brain and guide our energy towards the positive.

Affirmations help us shift away from stuckness in old beliefs and conditioned ways of seeing ourselves and the world.

Affirmations open the possibilities and expansiveness towards a different way of being with life.

Affirmations,

In order to work well,

Need to be a sensory experience so that even when we don't fully believe these positive phrases yet,

Or we're not able to see the evidence,

We're able to imagine what it would feel like to feel okay,

To feel calm,

To feel happy.

So breathe into this present moment,

Settling right where you are.

As you draw in the energy of the earth,

Feeling very grounded and connected to the earth,

Take stock of your resources.

Feel into the gratitude of your heart for whatever and whoever supports you.

Bring to mind the good things in your life,

Even the simplest things such as the air we breathe,

The earth below our feet.

And breathing into the heart space,

Remember the good that you are,

Goodness of your own heart and your good intentions.

We will use a metta prayer for the affirmations today.

You can repeat these phrases silently or out loud.

May I see the goodness that I am.

May I remember I am human and I am not alone in my difficulties.

May I be surrounded by support and love.

May I offer myself loving kindness,

Grace,

And understanding.

May I tap into my wisdom,

Seeing my choices clearly.

May I be courageous and trust in my own ability to resolve whatever I encounter.

May I let go of judgment and see the interconnectedness of all things.

And may I be at ease with loving kindness.

Breathing in,

I am calm.

Breathing out,

I accept things just as they are.

Breathing in,

I am confident.

Breathing out,

I love.

I let go of resistance to what is not in my control.

Breathing in,

I feel support.

Breathing out,

I am love.

Take a moment to notice if anything has shifted for you.

How does it feel different?

Remembering this feeling,

You can take it with you in times of difficulty.

Recalling the felt sense of these affirmations helps move us forward with greater courage and expansive potential to meet whatever arises with loving kindness.
