Hi and welcome this is Susan from Soul Academy and welcome to my backyard meditation.

We are literally in my backyard so you may hear a variety of sounds.

This is approximately a five minute heart opening meditation.

So as you begin to settle in,

Allowing yourself to relax,

Asking yourself what activities relax or recharge me?

What activities relax or recharge me?

As you continue to settle in,

Turning your attention to your breath and listening as you breathe in and as you breathe out.

Breathing in deeply,

Holding at the top,

Breathing out,

Letting go of all that is stuck inside you.

An ease,

Frustration,

Hurt,

Disappointment because today is a special day and you don't want to carry any of that stuff with you.

And if it feels natural placing one or both of your hands over your heart.

As you breathe softly,

Notice how comforting and nurturing this feels.

Feel into your body how this calms you.

It allows yesterday to go,

Gives you a feeling of calm,

Balance,

Inner stillness.

You are here for yourself.

As you release yesterday and even this very moment,

You are allowing your full attention to rest in the awareness of this present moment.

As you continue to breathe,

Softly hold your attention to this beautiful,

Tranquil moment.

I will give you a few moments.

Presence is a gift to you,

From you.

Allow your heart to open and welcome all the good to come into your body,

Mind,

Heart,

And soul.

Now you can use this simple gesture and your breath anytime and anywhere to nurture and care for yourself.

As you begin to gently transition into wakened awareness,

Gently stretch,

Feel your fingers and toes deep in your breath.

Till next time,

Namaste.
