In this meditation Stephen Procter will guide you in how to access joy & tranquility during mindfulness of breathing by accessing the subtle pleasure of letting go. Meditative joy and tranquility bring a feeling of safety and contentment to the mind thereby calming all meditative hindrances. When these two factors are cultivated through letting go rather than 'doing', they setup a reward system for letting go that develops a momentum of letting go within your mind.

It would be nice if you could help us with how to sit instead of just saying sit in  meditation posture. 45 minutes is a long time to sit and pains and tensions creep upin living bodies. Just telling people to abandon doesn’t help much. Also telling people to stop “doing” but putting long pause in the middle of the sentence is not very conducive to abandoning thinking - living minds are bound to wonder what’s com next.

I do feel joyful thank you 😊 but for some reason I always get fidgety when a meditation goes on for more than half an hour. I try to accept how I feel but it seems to spoil the experience if I stay with it for too long. Your voice does calm me 💕 ✨
