Please note: These are unedited recordings from live sessions held each weekday morning online. Please keep in mind the context when listening. During this session, there is a 4 to 5-minute teaching followed by a spacious guided meditation. The meditations are spacious intentionally so that you can feel into your own experience rather than me talking through the whole 20 minutes.

Good morning,

Good afternoon,

Good evening.

I'm going to start off with a short reading.

The how of now could drive you insane,

For now eludes how,

And methods bring pain.

The mocker of effort is always at play.

Whatever you grasp at just slips away.

Neither coming nor going,

It's always just here.

If you find it in yourself,

If you find self in it,

There's nothing to fear.

So let go of the method,

For it's not up to you.

You have what you need,

It's happening as you.

So the reason I read that,

And I'm going to do a.

.

.

I'm going to start off with a meditation as usual,

And I'm going to say a few things through the meditation,

Particularly at the beginning,

About this thing called the now,

Or this present moment.

Because you can't get it using a method.

That's why I say relax.

And then we might make that into a method.

That's what we do.

The mind gets hold of it.

So we just relax.

And notice if there's anything in your experience that you are resisting.

It might be some sadness.

It might be something that's a tension or a heaviness.

It might be something that's.

.

.

Just something.

Just something,

And I don't want it.

Move towards it,

Say hello to it.

What's this?

Best question you can ask,

Without looking for an answer.

Do not look for an answer.

I'll be able to tell if you're looking for an answer.

Not really.

But you just have a concept,

Say.

This is about feeling.

I don't mean feeling all lovely and.

.

.

It's just feeling.

And I mean the sound of the bus,

Because that's like I said,

Just being with your experience as it is.

The good,

The bad and the ugly.

That's how we resolve this whole issue of being human.

Just relax.

That's it.

Take a deep breath.

It just helps.

The now isn't a destination,

It's already here.

Relax into the body.

There's something you're resisting.

I think you'll be well if you keep it out of awareness.

It just sits there.

Decade after decade.

This is a kind of purification.

Not that there's anything bad.

If you find something that's a little uncomfortable,

Just soften.

Become intimate with whatever's here.

You may notice a calmness or something pleasurable.

Just feel it.

The now is that to be something painful.

Become intimate in a feeling way.

Not looking for information.

Observe the thoughts,

Watch the show.

Maybe take the attention back to the breath.

If you feel like you're too busy,

Too distracted.

Use the mantra or count the breaths.

It's a tool.

Use it for a few minutes.

Whatever you do,

Do not give yourself a hard time.

The now is a container.

It contains sounds,

Sensations,

Thoughts.

Where are you now?

Where's the attention?

Okay.

Bring this to an end.

Having a little stretch.

Wiggle your bottom.

Okay guys,

Thank you.

Have a good day.

Namaste.
