Welcome to your self-trust meditation.
Please find a comfortable place where you can sit or lie down now for the next 10 minutes or so where you won't be disturbed.
Make sure that you're really comfortable and that you're warm enough.
If you have any lavender oil or you want to light a candle,
Please do so now.
Hang up your do not disturb sign and let's begin.
Let's start with a full body relaxation.
So please visualize or imagine a beautiful amethyst light coming in through the crown chakra at the top of your head,
Moving from above to below and visualize that every part of your body that this light touches instantly and completely relaxes.
So feel the warmth of this beautiful light moving down behind your eyes,
Relaxing all of the muscles around your eyes,
Releasing.
Feel the light moving into your jaw muscles,
Relaxing.
Feel the warmth of that light moving into your neck muscles and down to your shoulders,
All the way down to your biceps and your triceps,
Your elbows,
Your forearms,
Your wrists,
Your hands,
And your fingers.
Feel your arms completely and totally relaxed.
And now feel the warmth of this light moving to the back of your body,
Relaxing your upper back,
Releasing your middle back,
Relaxing your lower back and your buttocks.
Allow your back to completely and totally relax and sink into the couch or the chair or the bed that you're on.
Now feel that light moving around to the front of your body,
Relaxing the big muscles of your chest,
Moving down your side body,
Relaxing your obliques.
Now I want you to visualize this gorgeous amethyst light pouring into your entire torso,
Illuminating all of your internal organs as well,
Detoxifying and relaxing.
See and feel this light moving into your hips,
Relaxing the big muscles of your thighs and your hamstrings,
Moving down to your knees,
Your shins,
Your calves,
Your ankles,
All the way down to your feet and your toes.
And now I want you to see this amethyst light begin to encircle the outside of your body as well.
Visualize yourself floating in a cocoon or a halo of light,
Knowing that no harm comes through this light,
Only goodness,
Only loving energy.
Allow yourself to totally and completely relax in this light.
And now that you're relaxed from the top of your head to the tips of your toes,
Bring your attention to your relationship with self-trust.
We're bringing awareness to how you feel,
To how you think about it.
So throughout your day,
I'm gonna give you some ideas right now of things that you can do to basically strengthen your self-trust muscle.
And so much of it has to do with self-care.
So throughout your day,
Bring your awareness to what you're thinking and what you're feeling,
Not just what you're doing.
Dial in to the wisdom of your body the physical sensations that your body is sending you,
And then name them.
Are you hungry?
Are you tired?
Are you thirsty?
If you doubt your instincts,
I want you to take time to process what you're feeling.
And so much of that has to do with slowing down.
When we're in a rush,
It's so easy to bypass all of these things.
So just take your time,
And when you find yourself rushing in life,
Slow down.
Remember,
Just because you've made one bad choice or some bad choices in your life,
That doesn't mean that you don't know what's best for you.
It means you're a human being.
So just because you've made mistakes as a human being doesn't mean that you don't know how to make decisions.
That just isn't true.
I want you to think about respecting your opinion as much as you respect the opinions of other people.
How much of the time do you put so much weight on what someone else thinks?
I want you to care that much about what you think.
So much of this process is about you becoming a witness to yourself.
Become curious about the way you're responding in life,
About how you're talking to yourself,
About how you're treating yourself.
Be mindful of your language.
I want you to start to really think about treating yourself the way you do a child that you madly,
Deeply love.
And instead of basically championing or looking for or fighting for your limitations,
I'm going to ask you every single day to find evidence to support your capabilities,
Your abilities to make decisions for yourself.
All of the good decisions that you've made in your life.
Be grateful for all those decisions that were beneficial to you and allow the other ones to be learning.
I want you to think about every day the things that you like about yourself.
Actually make a list,
Right?
But if you want to become someone that you really trust,
It can be very challenging to trust someone that you might not even like.
So we're gonna also flex that self-love muscle because it is so incredibly important.
And I want you to think about empathy.
You seem to be able to extend it to everyone else in your life.
I want you to start really cultivating empathy and compassion for you.
And now I'm going to ask you to silently repeat our affirmation in your mind and I'll let you know when it's time to come back.
This affirmation is I trust myself to love,
Value and choose me.
I trust myself to love,
Value and choose me.
Start repeating the affirmation silently and I'll let you know when it's time to come back.
Please gently stop repeating our affirmation.
I trust myself to love,
Value and choose me.
Just take a nice deep breath.
Start to bring your awareness back to your body.
Back to the room that you're in.
Back to the bed or the couch that you're sitting on.
Just start breathing deeply in through your nose and out through your nose.
Starting to energize your body.
Knowing that all the information in this meditation is now deeply embedded in your unconscious mind.
And I'm challenging you to keep it in your conscious mind as you go through your busy life.
Because you deserve your own love.
Your own trust.
You deserve to choose you.
So now you can stretch your hands and rock your feet and give yourself a nice big full body stretch.
I hope you have an amazing rest of your week and as always take care of you.
