All right,

So let's begin by finding a comfortable position.

You can be seated or lying down.

Allow your spine to be straight,

Your shoulders relaxed.

Placing one hand on your chest and the other on your belly.

Gently closing your eyes if that is available.

And let's take a few breaths to become aware of our body,

Of our natural breath.

As you inhale,

Filling your belly with breath,

Feeling your body expand.

And as you exhale,

Feeling your body relax and soften.

Tuning in to the rhythm of your breath.

As you inhale,

Feeling your body expand,

Your chest opening,

Your belly moving outwards.

Bringing in all this loving breath.

And on your exhale,

Feeling your body soften,

Releasing this breath.

Letting go of all that no longer serves us.

Allow your breath to flow continuously without a pause between your inhale and exhale.

Aiming for a smooth and consistent rhythm.

Inhale for a count of five,

Exhale for a count of five.

Creating a smooth,

Connected breathing pattern.

Bringing your attention to the sensation of breath moving in and out of your body.

Noticing any sensations in your body.

Feel this life force energy entering with each inhale and releasing tension with each exhale.

Feeling your body expand on your inhale and soften on your exhale.

Notice any thoughts,

Feelings,

Emotions,

Or memories that arise.

You are simply becoming aware of what is stored within you.

Allow yourself to observe these moments.

See yourself in these moments.

Notice offering yourself a comforting hug and letting your attention return back to the rhythm of your breath.

Motherhood is an incredible portal of transformation and creation.

And with it comes an awareness to traumas,

Beliefs,

Habits,

And routines.

Awarenesses of these that no longer serve us.

Tuning into our body through this transformation will give us messages and guide us along this journey.

Feeling safe in your breath and in your body to be present and to listen to what comes up.

As you are growing your baby,

You are also growing into this mother.

This new version of you,

Allowing yourself to shift and transform along the way.

Releasing any thoughts and returning your awareness to the rhythm of your breath.

Turning your attention to your breath,

To the rise and the fall of your belly.

Noticing any sensations that arise.

Slowly observing and returning your attention back to your breath.

Make a commitment to practice this breath daily so that it becomes a habit,

A tool,

A skill you can use throughout your day when you're feeling stressed,

Overwhelmed,

Or triggered.

Knowing you can tune into the rhythm of your breath and listen within.

And when you are ready,

You can gently bring this practice to a close,

Wiggling your fingers and toes,

Opening your eyes,

Bringing your awareness back into this moment.
