This practice will give you a deep sense of inner peace, purity, strength, hope, and connection. You will feel rejuvenated and connected to your true self and to the world around you. You have so much to offer to this world. Take a few moments to recenter and prepare to bring out your best self into the world.

Transcript

Hi this is Steph Paltier from the Happiness Society.

Welcome to this guided meditation that will take you on a journey to rebalance the energy within your body,

To slow down your nervous system,

To reconnect with a deep sense of inner peace and security.

We will also use the meditative brainwaves to anchor inner resources within your subconscious mind.

So let's just start by taking the time to find a comfortable sitting position.

Feet flat on the floor,

Your hands gently resting on your lap,

Palms facing upwards and keeping your spine quite straight.

Imagine that your spine is like a stalk.

It's as if there is an invisible connection from the base of your spine going down into the earth,

Which keeps you grounded.

And the other hand of the stalk goes up above your head into the sky to a point of bright light.

And start by becoming aware of your breathing,

Just observing your breath as it is in this present moment.

And as you breathe,

Begin to take your focus from the outside world into your inside world.

And as you begin to be more and more conscious of your breathing,

You can start to relax,

Letting go of the tensions in your body with each out-breath.

Just breathing and relaxing a little bit more with each breath.

If your mind starts wandering at any point during this meditation,

Just gently acknowledge these thoughts,

Maybe label them.

They might be worrying or planning,

Just thinking,

Work-related.

Whatever they are,

Just let them go like clouds floating away in the sky and bring your awareness back to your breath and to the sound of my voice.

Now bring your attention to your perineum area between your legs and invite there a sphere of red light,

A beautiful vibrant red.

This is your root chakra.

Imagine that you are now breathing in and out of this sphere and as you do,

Its color intensifies and it opens up,

Releasing its vibrant red light between your legs towards the earth.

This is your place of security,

Of safety.

It is the seat in your body of I AM.

And as you now focus on your exhalation,

With each out-breath you are letting go of any feelings of insecurity,

Any sensation that it's not so safe to be here,

Maybe that you can't stand your ground.

Breathe them all out.

And now shifting your focus to your inhalation,

Say to yourself,

I am part of the living universe.

I am alive and safe here in my body.

I have everything that I need.

And now take your attention a few inches below your belly button and invite there a sphere of orange light,

The color of a warm autumn fire.

This is your sacral chakra.

Imagine that you are now breathing in and out of this sphere and as you do,

Its color intensifies and it opens up,

Releasing its warm orange light at the front and back of your body.

This is the place of your emotions,

Your feelings,

Your needs and your sexuality.

It is the place of finding balance and harmony within your environment.

It is the seat in your body of I feel.

And now focus on your exhalation and with each out-breath you can let go of any thoughts and feelings of relationships that are no longer relevant.

Let them all go.

Breathe out any thoughts that intimacy is threatening,

That you are not creative,

That change is frightening.

These thoughts limit you so breathe them all out.

And then switching to your in-breath now,

Remember that the only certainty we have in life is that life is uncertain.

So say to yourself,

I have the wisdom to accept what cannot be changed.

I have the courage to change what can be changed.

I have the wisdom to know the difference.

I am able to bring something new into this life.

I am confident about my sexuality and relationships with others.

I have the power to create.

And now shifting your awareness higher up in the body all the way to your solar plexus just below your ribcage and inviting there a sphere of yellow light,

The color of a beautiful summer sun.

This is your plexus chakra.

Imagine that you are now breathing in and out of this sphere and as you do its color intensifies and it opens up releasing its deep yellow light at the front and back of your body.

This is the powerhouse of your body and of your chakra system.

It governs our sense of self,

The power that we have within and over our destinies,

The power that we have of others and the power that others have of us too.

It is the seat in your body of I do.

So focusing on your exhalation with each out-breath,

Breathe out any feelings that you have to be perfect.

Breathe out any feelings that you are a victim or powerless in certain situations.

Breathe out any worries or concerns about what other people may think about you.

Breathe out any resentment for the impact others have on you.

And take this opportunity to visualize this yellow light cutting out any ties or attachments you might have with others.

Attachments that do not serve you.

Let this light free you from being held back by others.

Let it all go.

And switching to your in-breath now say to yourself,

I am in control of my own power.

I am the architect of my own life.

I respect myself and others too.

I am powerful.

And now bringing your awareness to your heart area and inviting a sphere of green light,

The color of the purest emerald.

This is your heart chakra.

Imagine that you are now breathing in and out of this sphere and as you do its color intensifies and it opens up releasing its pure green light at the front and back of your body.

The heart is the Emperor organ which rules our perception of love and our ability to give and receive love to ourselves,

To our highest essence and to others.

It is the seat of unconditional love for yourself and for others.

Remembering that the heart is always forgiving.

This is the seat in your body of I love.

And focusing on your exhalation with each out-breath,

Breathe out any feelings that you can get hurt.

Feelings about being vulnerable,

About loving others only if or when they do something,

About only deserving love if and when you do something.

Remember that the heart is the place of love without condition and is always forgiving.

So breathe out all these beliefs that limit and contract the heart.

Maybe beliefs that you don't deserve love and that it's wrong to love yourself.

Breathe them all out,

Let go.

And switching your attention to your in-breath now say to yourself,

I feel compassion for myself and for all living beings.

I give and receive love without condition.

I am full of love.

I totally and completely love and accept myself.

And now bringing your awareness to your throat and inviting there a sphere of turquoise light,

The color of the Mediterranean Sea.

This is your throat chakra.

Imagine that you are now breathing in and out of this sphere and as you do its color intensifies and it opens up releasing its turquoise light at the front and back of your body.

This is the seat of honest communication.

This is the seat of trust in yourself to speak your own truth.

It is the seat in your body of I speak.

Focusing on your exhalation with each out-breath,

Breathe out any feelings or memories of situations when maybe you were afraid to say what you felt,

When you couldn't speak your mind,

When you didn't trust yourself to open your mouth.

Breathe them all out now.

Then switching your awareness to your in-breath,

Say to yourself,

I express my deepest thoughts and feelings with clarity.

I can speak my truth freely.

I trust my soul and my intuition to guide me.

I trust my soul.

I trust my soul and my intuition to give me the right words to express myself with clarity and compassion.

Now bringing your awareness to the point between your eyebrows and inviting a sphere of indigo blue light,

The color of the midnight sky.

This is your third eye chakra.

Imagine that you are now breathing in and out of this sphere and as you do its color intensifies and it opens up releasing its blue light at the front and back of your body.

This is the place of the eye that sees in all directions,

The seat of your intuition.

It is the place in your body of eye see.

When the mind becomes as calm as the surface of a lake,

Your intuition emerges and starts guiding you.

Just stay there for a few breaths and say to yourself,

I trust my intuition.

With each meditation practice my intuition is strengthening and guiding me always in the best direction.

And now bringing your awareness to the crown of your head and inviting a sphere of white,

Gold and amethyst colors.

This is your crown chakra.

Imagine once more that you are breathing in and out of this sphere and as you do its color intensifies and it opens up releasing its light above your head.

This is the place of the vertical dimension of time,

The seat of the present moment.

It is the seat in your body of I understand.

This light is energizing and gives you the sense that all is one,

That you are a weave in the fabric of the universe.

And hear yourself saying,

I am that I am.

Feel this energy on the crown of your head.

And now visualize yourself radiating all these colors of the rainbow.

All the colors of our known spectrum from red at the root to amethyst gold and white at the crown.

It's as if every cell,

Every molecule in your body responds to these colors.

Everything is balancing itself within your physical and emotional body.

Everything is now working in perfect harmony.

Sensing and feeling that deep sense of inner peace,

Healing and growth.

And then when you are ready,

Just with your imagination,

Just see your chakras gently close like open flowers closing to buds.

Starting with the crown of your head,

Visualizing it closing down.

But remember your crown is always slightly open because you are always somehow connected to the oneness of the universe.

You are never alone.

Then moving to the third eye closing.

Moving down to the throat closing.

Down to the heart closing.

The solar plexus closing.

The sacral closing.

And down to your roots closing.

But again,

Like your crown,

Your root is always slightly open,

Keeping you grounded and safe.

And enjoying for a few more breaths that feeling of balance,

Of alignment,

Of security in your own body,

In your own energy.

You can now start maybe to begin to be aware of sounds around you.

Maybe start bringing small movements to your toes and fingers.

Take your time and when you are ready,

Only when you're ready,

Take your time.

You can open your eyes and start re-engaging with the world around you.

One of the best chakra meditations I’ve heard, particularly with the lower chakras! The lower ones are my weakest and actively letting go with her insights about them and feeling them start to open and glow nearly brought me to tears.
