Finding inner peace is a journey that begins when we can be calm and present with life as we are living it, which can be messy, demanding, and tough at times. Cultivating a tranquil state of mind requires practicing how to reduce paying attention to the usual mental negative chatter and patterns of reaction that rob us of our inner calm and peace daily. This meditation practice will help you cultivate your capacity to create inner peace and calm daily.

Welcome,

My love,

To this inner peace meditation.

This meditation will help you balance and center yourself for cultivating space and happiness in your life.

To begin this practice,

Make sure that you turn off all possible distractions.

Turn your attention inwards and allow your eyes to close as you find your comfortable position.

Notice how your breathing flows in and out of your body.

Do not try to change your breathing.

Let all the pressure come out as you exhale.

Continue to observe your breathing,

Allowing it to slow down naturally.

I want you to connect with what is true for you and find peace.

Feel fully supported by the earth and scan your body for inner pressure.

Allow the surface below you to support you.

Observe your feet and simply relax.

Breathe slowly and let out all the pressure from your lungs.

Release any tension in your calves,

Your shoulders,

Your neck,

Your knees.

Allow yourself to let go of all the tension from your pelvic area and your lower back.

Slowly travel up to your stomach and feel your belly expanding as you breathe in.

Relax your chest and observe the movements of your heart space as you inhale and exhale.

Relax your arms,

Palms,

Neck,

Back,

And shoulders with your next exhale.

Unclench your jaw and relax the muscles of your face,

Your cheeks,

Your forehead,

Your mouth.

Breathe in and release any pressure from your forehead and temples as you breathe out.

Know that in this moment you are safe and supported.

Let yourself travel into a calm and peaceful state of mind.

Envision bringing in inner peace into your being as you continue to breathe in and out.

And if it's safe to do so,

Make space for more calmness.

If you feel overwhelmed,

Anxious,

Or stuck,

Just observe how you feel and be present with your emotions.

Know that your emotions are a part of your journey.

Set down your guard to these feelings and make space for awareness and acceptance.

Remember to be free of blame or judgment towards yourself and your life.

Know that whatever you are feeling in this moment,

That it is all right.

You are here in this moment to cultivate more peace in your being.

Recognize the thought patterns of your mind,

Any judgments of yourself,

And stay here to observe your thoughts and feelings.

Now I ask you to allow all of the feelings present in your body,

In your mind,

And in your heart to come to the surface.

Reach whatever comes and just stay here without any opinion,

Judgment,

Or criticism for what has showed up.

Be present with yourself.

Stay in the moment and make space in your heart for these emotions to simply just be.

Breathe gently in and out,

Letting your body relax further and further.

Pause after recognizing any patterns,

Thoughts,

Or emotions.

When we pause,

We create space to be present with these emotions.

We allow ourselves to respond from a place of awareness,

Grace,

And love.

Simply by allowing your emotions to be,

You can move forward in releasing them and grow your ability for peace.

When you recognize your emotions,

Get curious about what is behind those feelings.

For yourself,

Breathe deeply and allow more space for your inner truth to surface.

Now observing what's underneath the feelings,

You are expanding.

Maybe you feel them in your body somewhere,

In your chest,

On your forehead,

Or your abdomen.

Just observe them.

And as you notice the area of your body where you feel these emotions,

Breathe deeply.

Send love,

Acceptance,

Peace to these areas.

And as you exhale,

Release all of the tension.

Let go of limiting self-beliefs,

Expectations,

Fears,

Or any negativity you may be holding onto.

Just let it go as you exhale.

Know that any past hurt is being replaced now with gratitude and understanding.

Let go of all that is holding you back.

Any anger,

Any stress,

Any block.

Now offer love and kindness to yourself.

Place both hands on your chest and offer positive,

Loving energy to your heart and your soul.

You might ask yourself,

What do I need to support myself?

And as you answer this question,

Envision your next breath bringing in all the things you need to support you and cultivate more inner peace and confidence.

And as you exhale,

You are exhaling all of the negative emotions that no longer serve you in this moment.

You are releasing any fears,

Any worries,

And all anxiety.

So stay here and continue breathing in all the things you need that will support you.

Again,

Remembering that each exhale,

You are releasing all of the things that are no longer good for you.

You are leaving them behind.

With each breath,

Support yourself.

With each breath,

You are bringing in more things to support you on this journey to become more peaceful and serene.

And when you feel ready to end this practice,

Become aware of your external reality and just observe how you feel.

You may slowly want to move your fingers,

Your toes,

Open your eyes,

And close out this meditation.

And for our last steps,

Let's end by placing your hand on your heart and thank yourself for this moment.

May you continue your day knowing you are filled with peace,

Gratitude,

Love,

And confidence.

Repeat this meditation as often as necessary.

Be well,

My love.
