Hello and welcome.
My name is Tomek and I'm delighted that you chose to meditate with me.
This meditation is about opening yourself to new possibilities and tapping into the great potential that lies within you.
You will learn how to change from the habitual state of doing to the new state of being and discover how positive emotions spontaneously arise when you are connected with your true self.
I wish you a pleasant practice.
The very same people who are down sometimes are the very same people who are happy sometimes.
One may say that our happiness depends on the circumstances.
Happy circumstances make us happy.
Sad circumstances make us sad.
Someone else may say at any given moment you have an opportunity to be happy and this also may be true.
So how do you feel right now?
Whatever is your answer,
I assure you this is a great place to start.
Because the circumstances to journey within are always right.
The point of stillness in the center of your being is always ready to be discovered.
Let us begin.
Start by making yourself feel at ease.
Assume position that will allow you to sit still for at least a couple of minutes.
Go back straight but not rigid in the way that you can breathe freely.
Rest your hands in your lap.
Plenty of feet on the floor so you feel supported and grounded.
Allow your eyes to close.
And now let us take a couple of deeper breaths.
This will allow us to release tension from the body.
Breathe with me as I guide you.
In.
Hold and out.
In.
Hold and out.
In.
Hold and out.
Hold and out.
Relax and breathe normally.
As the breath enters your body so is the vitality that will help you to stay aware and stay attentive during this meditation.
Notice if there is any remaining tension in your body,
Any obvious pain or discomfort.
If you feel particularly stressed,
You may try to drop your shoulders away from your ears and intentionally release tension from your jaw.
As you relax in your mind,
Your body slowly follows.
Although this may not be always easy,
You are in charge of your relaxation.
It may take some time,
But as your mind settles down,
Your body settles as well.
And most of the discomfort goes with it.
You may already have glimpses of this stillness and how pleasant it feels.
This is the gateway to your inner self.
By now,
You may notice that your body and mind begin to be more relaxed,
More at ease.
You may find that there are thoughts or perhaps some external stimuli that will try to take you away from the stillness within.
And that's absolutely normal.
If this happens,
Simply recognize the source of distraction,
A thought,
Sound,
Bodily sensation and gently redirect your attention within towards the center of your body,
Towards the stillness.
Make an intention to stay focused on the stillness within.
This is your gateway to the unmanifested.
That's where your full potential lies.
See if you can rest there for a moment.
It may happen that your mind will wander away from that point of stillness.
And that's okay,
Because I am here by your side to bring you back,
To help you re-center and re-focus.
When you are there,
Your mind may try to make sense out of this stillness and put form to the formless.
Instead,
Rest in the stillness of your being,
Away from the world of form and shape.
This is the place where you can be truly yourself.
This is your true self.
Stay here for a moment as I am holding the space for you,
Connected by stillness.
And now you can empty your mind inside your body.
You You You You You You You You You You And now it's time to return Imagine that all your senses are connecting with external reality First the sense of hearing Recognize the sounds around you Then the sense of touch Feel your feet resting on the floor Your hands in your lap Through your closed eyes,
Recognize brighter and darker spots Finally add some physical movement Gently and slowly wiggle your toes Move and stretch your fingers Slowly and gently tilt your head to the left Feel the muscles in your neck flexing Tilt your head to the right Again,
Feel the muscles flexing on the other side of your neck Bring your head back to the center And take one deep breath in through your nose And out through your mouth And when you're ready,
Open your eyes and welcome back How do you feel?
How was your journey within?
Whatever you discovered,
It is yours Take a moment to feel grateful for the time you spent with yourself Give yourself a pat on the shoulder because you did great The more you practice this meditation,
The more you discover I hope you enjoyed this experience Thank you for meditating with me I wish you a wonderful day
