Healing is always at our disposal.
Every time you close your eyes with the intention of restoring the balance to your body and mind,
You begin the process of healing.
Healing is not an on-off switch.
Healing is a conscious decision that you take one breath at a time.
Every time you take your breath unconsciously,
Resisting what there is,
You're moving away from the natural balance.
And every time you breathe in consciously,
You're coming back to the natural state of the self,
Which is state of health and prosperity.
Even though your mind and your conditioning may indicate that we are here to suffer,
Recognize that the suffering that you're experiencing.

It's simply a counterpoint to offer you direction towards healing,
Towards being more yourself.
If suffering is a state of being not fully yourself,
The state of health and healing reflects more of who you really are.
And we all do it here,
One breath at a time,
Bringing in vitality,
Fresh energy,
Exhaling stale,
Used up energy,
Restoring the balance one breath at a time,
Surrounded by this wonderful community of meditators,
Conscious beings,
But all wishing to be healthy,
At peace,
At ease.
So,
Let us,
In this very moment,
Bring awareness to your breath and recognize that as long as you are aware of this basic function of your body,
You are coming closer to restoring the natural ability of your body to heal itself as it always does in the subconsciousness of your being.
It's not about changing your situation,
It's simply about observing the reality as is,
Without resistance,
One breath at a time,
Moving closer and closer to the natural state of your being.
And as always,
I will be here by your side,
Hold the space to facilitate the healing that is ultimately an internal affair,
In the presence of all of you who meditate right now.
And I will bring you back when the time is up.
And now,
It is time to shift your awareness from the state of your inner self back to the physical senses that create the perception of the reality around you.
Infuse the quality of your being and take them to the field of your vision through your closed eyes.
Sense what's in front of you,
Even though it consists of brighter and darker spots.
Feel the quality of it.
Similarly,
Infuse your hearing with your current state of being and experience the sound of your being through your ears,
The sound of my voice,
Everything that comes to you through your hearing.
Briefly scan through your senses of smell and taste,
And land on the sense of touch and feel how your physical body connects with the space around you,
And if the quality of that connection is reflected in your state of being.
Feel your feet on the floor,
Your hands on your lap.
Enjoy this union of space around you and the boundaries of your physical body.
And joyfully include gentle movement,
Starting with your toes,
Including gentle movement of your fingers,
Slow and gentle tilt of your head to the left,
Recognize the muscles in your neck,
Tilt your head to the right,
Connect with the muscles on the other side of your neck,
Bring your head to the center,
And expand your lungs with one deep breath in through your nose,
And welcome back.
