In this mostly meditation track, Tony Samara explains for 3-4 minutes about the spiritual heart and how we can recognise the benefits of meditation for increasing and connecting to its ‘power’. Tony continues with a unique 13-minute breathing and visualisation meditation that is infused with white noise and is very helpful for strengthening the organs in the body, extremely beneficial for those with heart issues and creates a wonderful sense of joyful upliftment. Thank you.

Today,

The meditation is about connecting to the power of the heart.

Following this practice,

You practice every day in a consistent way,

The heart becomes a very powerful space that you recognize in your meditations.

So I'm not speaking about the physical heart,

Even though the physical heart is actually strengthened or benefits out of the meditation that I'm going to share with you now.

The physical heart is very connected to the spiritual heart.

So if you know that you have heart problems or if you have a genetic predisposition to heart problems,

Then this is a very good meditation for you.

Recognizing the physical heart also means understanding that your emotions and the energy of your emotions very often can create a stress or can create difficulty for the physical heart.

Very often,

Our ups and downs get registered as energy in the heart and this sort of lack of coherence and flow within the energy of the heart because of emotional ups and downs and mental worries and stresses can very often create pain and suffering in the physical heart and also disease.

So it's important to recognize that meditation is not just about creating relaxation,

But it's also about strengthening the organs in your body,

Especially the heart,

So that you're not predisposed to all the problems that we see today are so much more common than they should be.

And when you develop this capacity to transform the stress or the anxiety or the suffering to peace,

Joy,

And love,

Then this is part of the intention of this meditation that I'm going to share with you now.

It's not just about coming back to stillness and resolving the problems.

It's about the transformation.

It's about knowing that whatever you're going through,

Whatever your heart is overwhelmed by or stressed by or anxious by or weakened by within you,

You have the key,

The key that can help you to gain or develop more confidence in the strength of your spiritual practice,

In the resilience that your spiritual practice creates,

In the transformational fear that your spiritual practice creates and touch not just the spiritual strength within you,

But also help to awaken the spiritual strength in the constellations that you find yourself within.

So within family constellations and also within groups of friends and so much more.

Even if you don't believe that this meditation works for you,

Give it a try.

You know,

Never give up,

Never create an idea or a perspective of understanding that is not really related to your practice.

So give it a try a few times.

And as soon as you understand this meditation,

As soon as you begin to connect to this meditation,

Then actually the meditation guides you.

So even though you may practice this like three or four times and you know the steps,

There are other steps that become obvious within your meditational practice once you've been practicing this meditation in a consistent sort of way.

So begin by sitting in a comfortable position,

Just taking a few moments to really register what a comfortable position means to register this as a physical experience,

But also as an emotional and mental experience.

What does it mean to sit in a comfortable way?

Very often we think sitting in a certain way creates relaxation,

But just check with your body.

You know,

If you're a scrunched or slouching,

Is this really comfortable?

It may seem comfortable,

But is it really comfortable?

Then ask yourself,

Okay,

What can I do to create a more comfortable position?

Even though it may seem like the position that I'm sitting in is not as comfortable as slouching.

So for example,

Making sure that you're breathing into your abdomen and making sure that the sternum sticks out a little bit so your chest is open and receptive to breathing.

When you do this,

Take a few deep breaths.

Deep breaths into the abdomen.

So it's belly breathing.

Relax the shoulders,

Relax the chest and breathe into the belly.

And do this for a few minutes.

It's easy to fall back into shallow breathing,

Which means that you're using the upper muscles of the body,

So more chest area.

You're using those muscles to breathe in,

In a way that is not really the best for the body and the best for your meditational practice.

If you notice you're,

That you're doing this,

Then just relax the shoulders,

Relax the body.

Make sure that you breathe deeper into the abdomen.

So move your awareness to this part of your belly.

You can even place your hand on this part of the belly where the breath just grounds you and connects you to the energy,

To the energy that you're feeling in your body,

But also the energy around you.

So if your usual way of breathing is shallow breathing,

It may seem uncomfortable to change or to transform the energy from shallow breathing to deep breathing,

But this is what meditation is about.

It's about finding that aspect of yourself that supports you in transformation rather than just what mentally seems comfortable.

Spend a few more moments breathing into your belly,

Relaxing on the out breath.

If you haven't already closed your eyes,

Close your eyes and just imagine most beautiful,

Loving,

Compassionate,

Spiritual being.

The most beautiful spiritual being that you've known,

Very compassionate,

Very loving,

Very caring,

Very connected to the light.

You can imagine this spiritual being as just a luminous light.

Connect this to your breath,

Connect this to your feelings.

So as you breathe in,

Imagine the spiritual being,

Imagine the light within.

As you breathe in,

Just sense the feelings and the communications that happen when the imaginary aspect of yourself is grounded and connected in alignment to your breath.

It can be any spiritual figure that you feel connected to,

Jesus,

Dalai Lama,

Mother Mary,

Any spiritual being that truly reminds you of deep compassion,

Of deep love.

As you imagine this energy,

This luminous light,

Imagine that this light is just close to your heart and just connected to this part of yourself,

The heart area,

That then expands into luminosity so that this expansion from within your heart connects to the crown of your head,

So the top of your head.

So it's almost like your heart is sending rays of energy out,

Luminous light out to the crown of your heart,

To the crown of your head,

So the heart sending energy to the crown of your head,

And also to all parts of your body.

It's almost like the heart is generating this beautiful,

Loving,

Compassionate energy that you are imagining within this spiritual being.

Your heart is connected to the spiritual being in a very direct way.

If you feel any resistance,

If you feel your heart is sort of saying,

No,

I'm more connected to feelings and those feelings that are very confused within me,

Remind yourself that you're connecting to the spiritual heart.

So it's okay to have emotions and it's okay to have human emotions,

But now you're connecting to the spiritual heart.

So if this is difficult,

Then just imagine within this space,

Within the heart space,

That the luminous light,

This beautiful spiritual figure is connecting you to the energy,

The energy of luminosity,

Of luminous light.

So it's not so very personal,

It's almost as if your higher self is connecting you to the spiritual experience that begins within the heart.

So you're gently merging with this spiritual being.

The luminous glow radiates warmth and light,

Love and compassion from deep within the essential nature of light,

From deep within the essential nature of spiritual being.

So it's not that you need to do anything,

Everything is done for you.

You just need to remember through your imagination that this is what's happening,

This radiance,

This infinite compassion,

This light is merging within the spiritual heart,

Within your spiritual heart and your remembering.

You're remembering what it means to open your heart,

Open your spiritual heart to more than just the mundane world.

Deep breath,

As you do this,

Imagine that your heart is experiencing a sense of resilience,

A sense of radiance,

Sense of light that just helps you to transform any negativity that your emotional heart may be connected to in a very easy positive way.

And not only your own negativity but also the negativity of others gets transformed just because this luminous energy,

This beautiful light,

Compassionate light within its nature transforms all negativity to positivity.

You can just relax and there is no need to do anything,

You can just relax and let go and be nurtured by this transformation.

Your spiritual heart knows what to do.

Your spiritual heart is connected to the positive energy of this spiritual being,

This luminous light within and is in constant expansion.

As you breathe in and breathe out,

Just relax a few more moments and enjoy the stillness,

Enjoy the transformation,

Enjoy the luminous light expanding within your heart,

Within your spiritual heart,

Expanding around you into the atmosphere and creating this sense of elevation,

This sense of well-being whereby you are elevated beyond just the everyday stresses that the mind can so easily get connected to.

Deep breath.

Deep,

Deep breath,

Relaxing on the out breath,

Letting go and breathing deeper into the abdomen.

Deep,

Deep breath,

Relaxing on the out breath,

Letting go and breathing deeper into the abdomen.

Deep,

Deep breath,

Relaxing on the out breath,

Letting go and breathing deeper into the abdomen.

Deep,

Deep breath,

Relaxing on the out breath,

Letting go and breathing deeper into the abdomen.

Deep,

Deep breath,

Relaxing on the out breath,

Letting go and breathing deeper into the abdomen.

Deep breath,

Relaxing on the out breath,

As you breathe in,

Focusing on the belly area of the abdomen,

Breathing deeply into the abdomen.

You may wish to continue in stillness for a few more moments.

Enjoying the stillness,

Enjoying the practice of connecting to the power of your heart.

Thank you.
