These affirmations will help you in your recovery and inner healing work. This one has been created without music as trauma can make you sensitive to sound. Repeat the affirmations which resonate most with you for as long as you need. Then come back and see which other ones stand out for you. You will find that you will begin to create your own. There is such power in that. It is part of your healing.

Welcome to this meditation and thank you for being here with me today as I gently guide you through these affirmations to support you in healing from trauma.

I'm Chantal,

Psychotherapist and Reiki Master.

I will say the affirmation and either you can repeat them silently to yourself or out loud.

I would now like to invite you to gently close your eyes if that feels comfortable to do so and take a nice slow deep breath in and as you exhale giving yourself permission to let go and release as you open to receiving these positive affirmations.

I am safe.

I am loved.

I allow myself to heal my inner wounds.

I am willing to heal my inner wounds.

I am ready to heal my inner wounds.

I do the very best I can and that is enough.

It is okay to feel vulnerable.

It is okay to hide when I need to.

I am brave.

I am strong.

I'm not my trauma.

My trauma isn't me.

Talking about my trauma is courageous and powerful.

I believe in myself.

I know my truth and nobody can take that away from me.

Healing takes time.

Healing isn't linear.

My process is my process.

It's okay to be angry.

Is okay to be emotional.

There is nothing wrong with asking for help.

I do the best I can and that is enough.

Slow progress is still progress.

I'm not alone.

What happened to me doesn't define me.

What happened is not my fault.

These two will pass.

I'm allowed to ask for help.

I'm allowed to be afraid and avoid what frightens me.

I'm allowed to do things that make me feel better.

I'm allowed to heal.

I will be patient and love myself as I heal.

I am worth taking care of.

It is okay to say yes to myself.

It is okay to say no to others.

I will nurture and protect myself.

My trauma is valid.

My story matters.

It is okay to let go.

I deserve to heal and feel better.

It's okay to not know what I need.

Tomorrow will be a new day.

I own my story.

Everything is going to be okay.

Even it doesn't feel like it now because I'm safe.

But I now know what I need to do to help me heal from my trauma.

It is time to slowly come back.

Return to your breath.

Feel free to stay here as long as you need to.

And whenever you feel ready,

You may slowly open your eyes knowing you can come back to these affirmations whenever you need to.

Holding yourself in a place of love,

Kindness and compassion.

From my heart to yours,

With all my love and gratitude.

Namaste.
