This meditation was designed to connect you to your body, to your heart, and to open the portal to feel yourself + listen deeply to your soul. In this meditation, you are guided into the portal of your heart with breath and awareness, conjuring a golden-light and shifting focus into and around your body to open the portal of the heart & learn to listen what it has to say to you. If you are having trouble accessing clarity about something, feel the need to process what's going on in the world or in your world, need a brain-break from overactive thinking, or just need a space to sit in the comfort of your own rhythm and learn more about what that is, this mediation is for you.

Our hearts are an instrument made up of extremely subtle energy that if we are brave enough to feel,

We can allow light into.

Wherever you are,

Create a straight spine,

From the tail to the crown.

Create space in each one of your vertebrae,

Whether you're laying down,

Sitting on a chair,

Allowing your spine the space to breathe.

As you get comfortable,

Close your eyes,

Feel the cool dark space form,

Acknowledge that you are here,

Surrender to being here.

Take a nice,

Deep inhale in through the belly,

Allow the edges of yourself to expand,

And on an exhale,

Allow the corners of yourself to fold into.

Breathe,

Inhale,

Exhale,

Inhale,

Rise,

Expand,

Exhale,

Fold,

Sink,

Allow.

Notice what it's like to be in your body today.

Notice what it is like to tune into your heart,

The center of your chest.

Can you hear it beating?

Can you feel it breathing?

What happens if you open the door to this space?

Take a nice,

Deep inhale into your heart,

Exhale out through your heart.

The heart will tell us the truth.

The heart will tell us our truth.

As you sit in this space,

As you consciously relax,

As you consciously breathe,

I ask you what brought you here today,

And as you answer,

What does your heart say?

We learn to listen through feeling,

Through allowing.

If you find that the thoughts in your mind are distracting you,

If you cannot separate those thoughts from who you are,

Then don't.

Allow them in,

And connect to your breath,

Connect to your heart,

Stay grounded,

Stay rooted.

Stay here.

Inhale.

Exhale.

What brought you here today?

What does your heart want to tell you?

Imagine a golden light coming from the top of your head,

Floating into the crown,

Down through your throat,

Into the space of your chest called your heart,

Bringing it down further through your solar plexus,

Your sacral chakra,

Your root chakra,

Through all corners and edges of your body,

This golden light is filling you up.

Breathe it in.

Exhale.

Breathe it in.

Exhale.

On your exhale,

Send it out and around you,

Creating a safe space,

A protective orb that fills your entire auric center from the very top of your head to the bottom of your feet.

Deep breath in.

Exhale through your heart.

Shift your attention and your focus to your hands.

Where are they on your body?

Without looking or thinking,

What does it feel like to have fingers?

What do the edges of your fingers feel like?

Now move gently up one arm,

Then the other arm,

And allow your attention to be guided into the center of your chest.

Feel your heart as the center of yourself as you pay mind to what it feels like to have hands.

Feel the energy of your body.

Feel the energy of your hands.

Feel the corners,

The edges of your skin as a whole as you sit listening to the beat of your heart.

There are times in our lives where we need to come home to ourselves and into our bodies in order to feel,

In order to be honest,

In order to see ourselves.

Times in our lives where we don't let anyone else see us because we're too scared to be seen,

We're too scared to see ourselves,

We're too scared to sit in the space and in the corners and the edges of a tender heart.

This is safe for you to do here.

You are safe to feel.

You are safe to see yourself.

You are safe to listen.

What is your heart telling you?

What does it long for?

When in your life have you felt your heart filled with joy,

Love,

Fulfillment?

When have you felt it alive,

Unwavering in your ability to feel it,

To feel yourself,

To feel the corners and the edges of your skin,

To feel the tips of your fingers,

To feel the aliveness,

The beat of your being?

When have you allowed your untethered heart to be open,

To be bright,

To be felt?

When has it guided you?

Where has it guided you?

Our heart is our compass.

We strengthen our connection to it and we strengthen our connection to our intuition,

To our emotions,

To our power.

It sits in between where we root,

Where we feel,

Where we create from and how we speak,

How we think,

How we receive.

It is the highway between two worlds,

Logic and emotion,

Light,

Dark,

Creative,

Receptive.

Our heart gives us balance.

So what is it telling you today?

What brought you here?

What are you longing to feel?

What is it asking you to face?

Allow whatever emotions come up,

Allow it to crack open,

Allow yourself to feel,

To be here now.

To know that whatever it is that you're feeling is a sign that you are alive.

What a gift it is to have a beating heart,

To be here in this body,

To be well,

To have ears that listen,

To have a heart that can receive,

To have strength to try again and again.

Every day to wake up,

To push yourself,

To love yourself,

To try,

To trust,

To fail.

How much of a blessing it is to live in all of the colors of what it means to be alive.

Deep breath in through your heart.

Long exhale out.

Rest.

Allow your bones to fall.

Allow yourself to meet yourself.

Greet yourself,

Greet your heart,

Thank your heart for all it does for you.

For all it protects you from.

For all it lets you feel.

Give to it by acknowledging it,

By feeling it.

By taking note of the sensations that are coming up,

Letting them come through you.

It is a gift to feel in this life.

So what are you feeling right now?

What is your heart trying to tell you?

Create space for it to breathe.

Feel what it's like to realize that your heart is beating for you all of the time.

Feel what it's like to feel the tips of your fingers,

To realize that you have them.

To allow the tips,

The edges,

The corners of yourself to awaken.

To feel your body as a whole.

To feel the light that you let in.

Have a space wherever you sit or lay.

Have a moment to rest behind the dark cool lids of your eyes.

What is it like to acknowledge that you are alive?

And on an inhale,

We open our eyes.

We look around us.

We take note of everything in the room that we're in.

Existing in its stillness,

In its form.

Without its heartbeat.

We put our hand on our heart.

And we feel that we are alive.
