This meditation begins with a guided relaxation of the body. Vishrant then guides you into self-inquiry, inquiring into the nature of who, or what, you are beyond the limitations of the identified mind, the conditioned personality and the egoic construct. You are invited to relax deeply, let go, tune into the presence behind the words, and discover your own true nature. Self-inquiry is a powerful practice that seekers have used for thousands of years to discover who they really are.

Find a comfortable position in the room and lay down.

Allow yourself to sink into the ground underneath you.

Allow your body to feel heavy.

Any stress,

Any strain.

Allow it to drain into the ground underneath you.

Take a deep breath.

And as you breathe out,

Allow your body to relax.

Just let go.

Let your body sink into the ground beneath you.

Heavy,

Like a weight.

Take another breath.

And as you breathe out,

Let go.

Allow all tension to drain into the ground beneath you.

With every outward breath,

Relaxing,

Letting go a little more.

Thoughts may come.

Allow them.

They will go.

Feelings may come.

Allow them.

They will go.

Sensations of the body will come.

Allow them.

They will go.

This that you are is quiet.

This that you are is still.

It is what the thoughts and the feelings appear in.

The stillness,

The emptiness remains.

The thoughts,

The feelings,

They go.

You remain.

You are always here.

Allow your awareness to be on this stillness,

On this quiet.

Let go.

With every outward breath,

Allow yourself to let go a little more.

Who you are is always here.

Who you are does not move.

Simply still,

Simply silent,

Simply empty.

Effortlessly here.

Nothing to do.

Nowhere to go.

Perfectly still.

In this emptiness that you are,

Thoughts arise and go.

Sensations arise and go.

You remain.

You are the awareness of these thoughts.

You are the awareness of these sensations.

You remain.

Just here.

Always here.

In this moment.

Always in this moment.

So still.

So quiet.

Just empty.

With every outward breath,

Allow the body and mind to relax a little more.

Let go.

Allow any tensions to drain into the ground under the body.

Just let go.

Simply here.

Present as emptiness,

As silence.

As peace.

Home.

As home.

You have always been here.

You have never left here.

All that had ever happened was awareness went to thoughts,

To stories,

Instead of back to itself.

When awareness goes back to the peace,

To the silence,

To this emptiness,

You are home as this.

Stay as this.

Oh what beauty just to be.

To be nothing.

To be empty.

So serene.

So silent.

With every outward breath,

Allow yourself to relax more,

To sink deeper into the ground.

All tension draining away.

Absolutely empty.

Absolutely still.

Effortlessly here.

Just here.

You are this that does not move.

You are this that is silent.

You are this that is always here.

Always present.

Every self is your own nature.

Anytime you put awareness on stories,

On the body,

On the outside world,

And take awareness away from this silence,

You seemingly leave home.

To come back home,

All that is needed is for awareness to come back to itself.

The question,

What is aware of what's happening now,

Brings you home to this silence,

To this nothingness,

To this emptiness that you are always here.

When awareness is on itself,

There is pace.

When awareness is on itself,

There is tranquility.

What a beautiful life lived as this,

Your birthright,

The flowering consciousness aware of itself.

All that appears,

Appears in this emptiness that you are.

All appearances come and go,

And as such are not real.

You remain always here.

This that you are never leaves you.

Only the appearance of it leaving when awareness is put on the outside world,

This will always have you back.

Stay empty.

Stay silent.

Stay still.

With every outward breath,

Allow yourself to relax and let go more deeply.

Just here.

Just being.

Thoughts may come.

Just allow them.

You stay still.

They will go.

Sensations of the body might come.

Just allow them.

You stay still.

They will go.

You remain.

You are this stillness.

You are this silence that all appears in.

You are just here.

Always here right now in this moment,

This very precious moment as emptiness,

As nothingness.

Free and bound,

Spacious.

Just here.

Always here.

With every outward breath,

Allow yourself to relax more deeply.

Allow any stress to drain into the floor.

So still.

So silent.

So peaceful.

You are here.

Nothing happens around but you are here as stillness,

As emptiness.

You remain.

Quiet.

Spacious.

So empty.

So vast.

Stay as this.

This is who you are.

This is who you have always been.

You have never been separate from true self.

It is your nature.

Keep awareness on this silence,

On this peace,

On this emptiness that you are.

Thoughts come,

Feelings come,

Allow them to go.

You stay with this.

You stay with this emptiness,

This silence.

You stay with self.

Always here.

Always welcoming.

You are this.

Stay as this.

Still.

So still.

Always here.

Always now.

Really great & relaxing! I have listened previously to Philip Wade's Infinite Silence meditation, and this resonates really well with it. Thank you! šŸ™šŸ˜‡šŸ™
