Welcome to this healthy pregnancy meditation.

I am Dr.

Linda Friedland and I'm delighted to be here with you today,

Accompanied by the intentional music track of Yuval Ron in consultation with Dr.

Richard Gold of Metta Mindfulness Music.

Close your eyes.

Give yourself permission right now to relax.

This is precious time for yourself to create a sense of inner peace,

To enhance your strength and your vitality,

And to nourish the beautiful life growing within you.

This is time to connect with your baby in a quiet space.

Begin to become aware of your breathing.

Breathe in deeply through your nose and slowly breathe out through your mouth.

Once again,

Take a deep breath through your nose.

Hold it for a moment and breathe out through your mouth.

Another deep breath,

Inhaling through your nose,

Breathing out slowly through your mouth.

Breathing has an enormous capacity to energize,

To heal,

To regenerate your body.

It stills your mind,

Calms your emotions.

Deep breathing enhances the oxygen within yourself and within the baby and new life growing within you.

As you breathe out,

Let all the tensions stored in your body begin to leave you.

With each inhalation,

You absorb new calming energy and vitality.

With each breath out,

You are releasing strain.

Breathe out your tensions and any worries for just this moment.

Now,

Starting at the top of your head,

Begin to consciously relax the muscles of your scalp,

Your forehead,

Relax your face and relax your jaw.

Relax the muscles of your neck and your shoulders where so much of your tension is stored.

Feel a wave of relaxation flowing through your chest,

Down your arms and into your hands and fingers.

Feel this wave of relaxation move through your entire abdomen,

Relaxing any tightness,

Any tension and allow it to flow into your back muscles.

Continue down your legs into your feet.

With each gentle breath you take,

Allow yourself to become more and more at peace and calm.

Now we will begin to use the power of imagery.

Images are powerful mental pictures that connect pathways from your brain cortex to areas of well-being and to a feeling of inner peace.

You are ensuring that a healthy,

Wonderful,

Soothing environment exists within you.

Imagine,

See and feel a beautiful,

Warm,

White light above your head.

Allow this light to penetrate through the top of your head,

Down your face,

Behind your eyes and into your neck and shoulders.

Feel this warm light filling your chest,

Your heart,

Your lungs and your abdomen.

See this light going down into your pelvis and into your uterus,

Your womb,

Where the new life is growing.

The light flows down your arms all the way to the tips of your fingers and continues through your legs down to your feet and toes,

All the while making you more comfortable and peaceful.

Allow this light to spread down your spinal cord to every nerve,

To every cell in your body,

Replenishing,

Renewing,

Healing and relieving any stress or strain.

You may begin to feel a heaviness and a warmth entering you as you become more and more relaxed and comfortable.

You are becoming calmer and more tranquil.

Let this light enter your heart,

The source of your life force,

Your vitality.

Let it pump this light through your entire body and through to your baby,

Through your bloodstream,

Nourishing,

Clearing,

Replenishing and healing.

Feel the warmth,

See the light,

Hear the movement through your vessels,

The flow through your magnificent body.

This light flows to all the pathways of healing,

Of immunity and of well-being.

The baby's entire body is surrounded in this calming,

Healing,

Life-enhancing light.

Your entire body is too now bathed in this light as it surrounds you in a cocoon,

Relaxing your outer muscles and skin and you feel at peace and energized.

Let the energy of this music and the earth's energy and the spiritual divine energy enter and enhance your energy and life power and that of your beautiful baby,

Promoting a beautiful and healthy pregnancy throughout.

Open every cell of your body to health and well-being.

Now gently bring your attention back to your breathing once again.

Feel the chair or the cushion or your bed against your body.

Allow your deep breathing to continue through your nose and exhale through your mouth as you feel calm and joy and clarity and strength.

As we conclude our meditation you will feel calmer inside and out.

Your breathing will remain smooth and even.

Your thoughts and your mindset will be positive and supportive of yours and your baby's health and well-being throughout your pregnancy.

Know that you can use this meditation as often as you wish towards a healthy robust pregnancy.
