Take a moment and gently close your eyes.

There's nothing you need to fix,

Nothing you need to solve,

No place you need to go.

Just allow yourself to arrive.

Take a slow breath in through the nose and exhale through the mouth.

Again,

Inhaling deeply and letting the exhale soften you.

Now,

Bring your attention down to your feet.

Notice where your body makes contact with the floor,

The chair,

The bed beneath you.

Feel the weight of your body being held.

You don't have to hold yourself up right now.

You are supported.

With each breath out,

Imagine your body settling,

Like sand sinking gently to the bottom of clear water.

Breathing in,

You gather yourself up.

You release what you no longer need to carry.

Let your shoulders drop,

Unclench the jaw,

Soften the space around your eyes.

There is strength in the softness.

Now,

Bring your awareness to the center of your chest,

Not to analyze,

Just to notice.

Notice the rhythm of your breath,

The quiet steadiness of your heartbeat.

This is your center.

This is where you come back to yourself.

No performance,

No expectations,

Just presence.

If your mind wanders,

That's okay.

Gently guide your attention back to the breath,

Ending from the base of your spine and the soles of your feet.

Unshakeable.

Breath.

Feel yourself grounded,

Secure.

Strength that knows itself.

Take another slow breath in,

But because you are here,

Begin to gently bring awareness back to your body.

Wiggle the fingers,

The toes,

And when it feels right,

Slowly open your eyes.

Carry this grounded presence with you into your day,

Into your conversations,

Into your life.
