Welcome to Harmony in Breath.

As we embark on this journey of inner tranquility find a serene space where you can sit comfortably.

Take a moment to settle into your chosen position and gently close your eyes.

In this meditation we'll explore the profound connection between our breath and our state of mind.

Breathing meditation is a powerful tool to calm the mind,

Reduce stress and find harmony within.

Begin by bringing your awareness to your breath.

Notice the natural rhythm of your inhales and exhales.

There's no need to change your breath in any way.

Simply observe it as it is.

As you focus on your breath you may notice that your mind begins to wander.

Thoughts,

Worries and distractions may arise.

This is completely normal.

When you notice your mind wandering gently bring your attention back to your breath without judgment.

Inhale deeply allowing your lungs to fill with fresh beautiful air.

Feel the expansion in your chest and abdomen.

Then exhale slowly and completely releasing any tension or stress with each breath out.

Good.

Now let's introduce a simple counting technique to enhance your breath awareness.

With each inhale silently count 1 and with each exhale count 2.

Continue this pattern counting up to 10 breath cycles and then start again from the count of 1.

Good.

This counting exercise helps anchor your attention to the breath providing a focal point for your meditation practice.

As you maintain this rhythm of counting you may find your breath naturally slowing down becoming deeper and more rhythmic.

This is a good sign that your mind is becoming calmer and more focused.

With each breath cycle allow any tension or stress to melt away.

Picture these feelings dissolving into the air as you exhale leaving you feeling lighter and more at ease.

Now let go of the counting and simply be with your breath.

Feel the sensation of the air entering your nostrils filling your lungs and exiting as you exhale.

Notice the gentle rise and fall of your chest and abdomen.

In this moment your breath is a source of harmony and calmness.

It is always with you serving as a reminder of the peace that resides within you.

Beautiful.

As you continue to breathe mindfully imagine a serene lake.

The surface of the water is still mirroring the clear blue sky above.

Each breath you take is like a gentle breeze causing ripples on the surface of the lake.

With each breath the ripples gradually subside and the water becomes even more still and tranquil.

Your mind is like this serene lake and your breath is the gentle breeze that calms its surface.

In this state of inner harmony take a moment to set an intention for the rest of your day.

It could be a simple commitment to stay present and breathe mindfully even during busy moments.

You could repeat after me either quietly to yourself or out loud.

Today I will stay present and be aware of my breath.

Good.

Now invite a sphere of protective warm golden loving light to be placed all around you and this experience too so that all the positive breathing serene and restful benefits will stay with you.

Gently bring your awareness back to your physical surroundings.

Take a moment to thank yourself with gratitude for giving yourself this gift.

Take your time and when you're ready open your eyes and feel awake alert and refreshed.

You can carry this sense of tranquility and mindfulness with you throughout the rest of your day.

Your breath is always there ready to guide you back to the present moment whenever you need it.

You may come back to this breath journey whenever you would like.

Namaste my friend.
