In this meditation,
We're going to focus on embracing ourselves as whole people.
People who need connections,
People who thrive in community,
But people who can also rely on ourselves,
Protect our own energy,
And create energy boundaries whenever we need them.
So to begin with,
Let's just start by bringing attention to the soles of the feet,
And gently pressing all ten toes into the floor,
And really focusing on that deep connection with the earth.
Imagine that you're breathing in energy through the soles of your feet,
And that that energy is moving through your body,
Up into your legs,
Over your knees,
Up your femur bones,
Into your pelvis.
As you continue to breathe,
That energy continues to move up into your abdomen and your lower back,
Filling your chest,
Traveling over your shoulders,
Down into your arms,
Letting that energy flow into your hands,
Up your throat and the back of your neck,
Filling your head,
Your mouth,
Your nose,
Your cheeks,
Your eyes,
Your forehead,
And then coming together at the top of your head,
At your crown chakra.
And here I want you to imagine that the energy centers in your feet and the energy centers in your head are creating a circuit between the ground beneath you and the sky above you.
The energy travels through your body,
Up through the body,
Up to the crown of the head,
And then leaves the crown of the head in a beautiful beam of golden white light.
And as you breathe,
That energy continues to move through you,
Connecting you to the earth below and the sky above,
Breathing in and breathing out,
Relaxing your body,
Even as you bring a nice tall posture to your upper body,
Straightening your spine,
Allowing your shoulders to relax down your back,
Naturally letting go of any stiffness,
And just treating yourself as the most natural organic conduit of this natural organic energy that is flowing through you.
Feeling confident that your body is uptaking the energy that it needs and letting pass through you anything that it doesn't.
Breathing and relaxing,
Breathing in and breathing out.
And now I want you to imagine a sphere of light surrounding your body.
And so as the energy moves through you,
With every inhale and exhale,
You can also feel it growing around you,
Creating a benevolent bubble of protection.
And as you breathe in,
It becomes a little bit brighter.
And as you breathe out,
It becomes a little bit stronger.
And this bubble is flexible and permeable.
It's not a cage.
It knows who you are.
It was created by you and your energy boundaries.
And so the bubble can act as your energy wing person.
When energy comes your way,
That is welcome.
The bubble lets it through.
When energy comes your way,
That feels depleting,
Or messy,
Or in any way,
Something that you've decided you no longer need in your life,
The bubble will deflect.
And we inform that bubble with our breath.
We create clarity with our meditative silence.
We create groundedness by becoming an energy conduit.
And then we can become stewards of our energy by creating a bubble that helps us invite in the people,
The dynamics,
The relationships that will help us thrive.
And keeping at a distance,
The people dynamic and relationships that maybe we just don't want that close to us,
Or at least not right now.
And just continue to breathe and visualize that bubble.
Notice that it is also very natural,
Very organic,
It moves,
It glows.
It swells and shrinks with your breath.
And you can reprogram that energy bubble anytime you wish.
Use meditative silence to create space for guidance and messages.
Use your anchoring energy conduction to fill you with the power that you need to make good decisions that benefit you,
To care for yourself.
And then put that all together to create this energy boundary around you.
A living,
Breathing thing that protects you when you need it and connects you when you need that.
And as you sit and breathe,
Just remind yourself that none of this is rigid or set in stone.
Your breath,
Your meditation,
Your energy connections and your energy boundaries can all be imagined as flexible and can help you flow through life like water.
Adapting and adjusting,
Allowing you to feel less friction,
Less collision.
Giving you the confidence that you have the flexibility of mind to trust yourself,
To trust your bubble,
To trust your guides.
And that making space for breath and meditation can strengthen that trust every day.
Let's just continue to breathe in silence for the next two minutes.
Feeling into all of these dynamics,
Feeling into the flow.
And now you can start to bring awareness back into your body.
Secure in the knowledge that whenever you need to,
You can root down and connect up.
You can strengthen that energy boundary.
You can invite guidance.
You can anchor in that self trust,
Creating the time and space to breathe and to feel the energy around you and to become very conscious of the energy that nourishes you and the energy that depletes you.
These are all small steps we can take every day to live a life that allows us to feel whole,
Protected,
And connected because we need all of those things.
And as we take the last few breaths of this meditation,
We can begin to invite a little bit of movement back into your limbs,
Your hands,
Your feet,
Your face.
And we drop one ear and then the other.
Raise and lower your shoulders.
And as you feel ready,
Gently open your eyes.
